Bree In A Pink Polka Dot Bikini

We all had seen Bree
in a pink polka dot bikini
walk to the pool where she
kicked in the nuts her ex, Scotty.

Amazingly I Can See

It seems that we've been deceived intentionally
Sold fabricated tales of history; religiously and biblically
I once was blind but now I can see fallacies all around me
So much is for show, that I don't know what I can believe

Hard E Memory

bathed in television’s glow, softly
caressing fingertips skim, lightly
trailing across slick skin, loudly
throated voices laughing, deeply

Let me pee, let me pee, let me pee, let me pee In the handicap toilet, let me pee (Apologies to Sir Paul)

Why is the handicap toilet never free
non-disabled souls need lots of room to pee
they exit (finally!) see me and say, sorry
hard to make a stand, sitting, just let it be

Sticky Solution

A blackout had shut down
air conditioners
entirely
So the city stifled under the wet blanket
of the
humidity
Though there was a measurable increase
in existing
nudily
Most remained miserable
in the clothes
of humanity

The Garden of 'EE'den

Sittin on the pub steps we three,
you, a glass Coke bottle and me,
two thin straws sat knee to knee
summer as warm as first kisses can be.

Death of Me

Tonight be the death of me
Fight to breathe desperately
Noose tied next to me
Suicide successfully

You Lying Next to Me

As the sun's rays poked through the shades, an image was reflected off the black screen of a tv.

The image consisted of three beings: a proud You lying next to a dishonest Me, as they hopelessly admired a loving We.

You and Me always longed to be just like We, but their constant need to act out of pride and dishonesty hindered love's growth significantly.

After much reflection, a now humble You lied next to an honest Me as they transformed into a shamelessly loving We.

Easily does it

 Distorted mirrors, that reflect celebrity
a compromise of each and all individuality
grandstand ego's , clowns of true identity
clothed in precocious garments of banality

OId Faithful

For exams I played Allegro, enthusiastically.
For funerals Adagio, elegiacally.
For auditions, Rondo-Allegro, always hopefully.
My soundtrack: your concerto, most befittingly.

Extremes of Thought

Brought up to think in harsh polarity
(thus even blind to shades that other’s see)
greys break the mould of stark rigidity.
Will colour reach this fruitless binary?
