I know it gives warm fuzzies to all!

Quite welcome, rabbit.

This is interesting. You can calculate your own risk of contracting covid-19 by filling in the calculator.  It provides you insight into your own personal risk and supplies data to researchers all over the world. I learned my blood type group isn't the highest risk.

Man, Rabbit, your cutting humor makes me feel like a church mouse.

I appreciate Dan Peña and his style of conversation.

BREAKING NEWS

On ABC's thisweek with Geordge Stephanopoulos, the White House's spokesperson ( for the moment), Peter Navarro, just unleashed a tirade of falsehoods, and unsubstantiated accusations including but not limited to China intentionally seeding other nations with people infected with the "China Virus" to undermine their economies.

AND IN OTHER BREAKING NEWS

Eric Trump accused Democrats of preventing his father from conducting campaign ralleys by interfering with a so called need for limits on people gathering and for social distancing due to the Coronavirus that will no longer be newsworthy after the November presidential election.

Should we have sheltered in place when measles was rampant?
It’s very contagious. Thankfully we infect people via needles so these are okay “measles teas” and everyone is infected, so no one is!

This is the PERFECT example of SENSATIONALISM by news media.

Title: FDA SAYS TRUCKS USED TO STORE BODIES OF CORONAVIRUS VICTIMS CAN CARRY FOOD, EVEN IF BLOOD LEAKED INSIDE VEHICLES

This would get ANYONE'S BLOOD BOILING, and, unfortunately, half will not read the article to learn about the details. They'll simply take the title at face value.  They may share it with friends ( perhaps the article will accompany, perhaps not ). Then friends, by virtue of that friendship, will believe what they are told ( perhaps by seeing the article headlines, perhaps not ).

Regardless, the point is. . .READ ( or ignore altogether ).  If you aren't going to read something FULLY, then why bother with sensationalist headlines?

The actual conditions that a refrigerated truck can be utilized for food:

"Refrigerated food transport vehicles and refrigerated food storage units used for the temporary preservation of human remains during the COVID-19 pandemic subsequently can be safely used for food transport and food storage under certain circumstances," the FDA wrote in its handbook.

However, the FDA said that all trucks and storage units should be "thoroughly cleaned and disinfected," perhaps several times, with EPA-registered disinfectants that have proven effective against COVID-19 and foodborne pathogens.

The trucks and storage units need to be brought to "the appropriate temperature" before disinfection, the FDA wrote, and the workers who clean and disinfect the spaces must be protected from exposure to hazardous chemicals.

The FDA also specified that vehicles and units that have come into contact with human blood or bodily fluids should not be used if they have offensive odors, refrigeration components that cannot be cleaned, or any interior surfaces that have been damaged, compromised or that are porous and cannot be removed or replaced.

[. . . ]

Don't believe  everything you read without actually reading it first.  This was obviously sensationalism on the part of the publication.

So true. The media should NEVER be trusted. 😖
The only reason we end up feeling divided is because of media manipulation. So I try to remember that!!

That, too.

Honestly, I really think everyone has been told to fish in the wrong pond. I have no absolute proof, just a strong hunch and a head full of random connecting facts...
