Love of the written word
In the World of Written Word
My soft hands and wide eyes that scan your pages,
Delicately tracing your words as they are bringing
Me to one place where I feel like I really belong;
Home. My sanctuary and safe place among stages
Of life like child or adulthood. They are singing
To me and give me life when I need to be strong
Like one of my favorite heroines. It is like getting
Lost among the stars, but I make my way back
When I need to. I am away from all the tragic
Messes, making my life like a two-way railroad track
To freedom and a world with possibility, regretting
Nothing as I open a book filled with nothing, but magic.

midnight manuscripts flames olympic- this sunlit book
had hidden you conscientiously
In an intimate remoteness
such trembling polar extremities
of magnetic currents that
would dwindle whole
in their ultimate mergence
eyes the i's strew in dreams
of your lucidly mysterious prints
brewing organic of the sepiatic scapes
mash torrential the craving grapes
to darkly entwined nights
of deep purplish abyss
in our mystical fusions
intangible to the hurried curious
firefly orbitals and to the spurious
corner glints of the winking highway
blues in flickering neon st[r]ands
present tense tighten
as grimly dimming disappearances
from crossdressed maniacal plays
of thickening silhouettes
over exponentially looming
choking aspergillus shadows
& the bottled histories
overly ferment to rancorous
rancidities frothing slimy black
in malformed remembrances
daring lights of your glowering sun
cracks open the benthic stalemates
from its clouded facades & comatose
fingers to plucked strings
of classic black & white prints
under your turmeric saffronic
sun in seamless streaming
