Above the Door

Last Christmas I hung some mistletoe
Above my door
Waiting for a kiss from a Christmas sent
💝Mi Amore 💝

But my hollyhock love
Never came a knocking
My heart was left empty
👺As a bad kid's stocking 👺

But the disappointment 😞
Has not deterred me
🎄For again, this Christmas 🎄
I await beneath those leaves🌿

With the hope that for
The New Year of 2019
🎅 Santa will send 🎅
💘A true love to me 💘

A Christmas song

There's love in my heart
There's snow in the sky
Santa's at the door
Eating his mince pie

There's love in my heart
There's snow in the sky
Because it's Christmas time
It's the reason why

Why we all get together this time of year
We all get merry and we all cheer
We all get together this time of year
Sing Christmas songs and drink beer

There's love in my heart
There's snow in sky
You got the mistletoe
And there's a glint in you're eye

So let's all get together this time of year
We can all get merry and have a cheer
We all get together this time of year
Sing Christmas songs and have a beer

Another Christmas song

This year's soon forgotten
A new ones set in stone
The turkeys slowly roasted
The queen speaks from her throne

Children open presents
Parents pour their wine
Charades by the fire
Celebrate Christmas time
It's Christmas time it's Christmas time
Charades by the fire it's Christmas time

Everyone's singing carols
Little ones play with toys
Family's in harmony
Celebrate the joys

Children open presents
Parents pour the wine
Charades by the fire
Celebrate Christmas time
It's Christmas time it's Christmas time
Charades by the fire it's Christmas time

It's Christmas time it's Christmas times
Charades by the fire it's Christmas time

The Christmas Dragon

a story, in verse

We went for a stroll in the fresh fallen snow
Christmas Eve was a few days away
The full moon was aglow as we crossed a meadow
And greeted some friends in their sleigh

My new girlfriend and I quickly waved them goodbye
We were both keen to spend time alone
We were preoccupied to make love on the sly
In the loft of a barn near her home

As I drew near that farm, with my girl on my arm
We both became giddy with lust
The moon shone like a charm on the roof of that barn
As if covered by magical dust

The sight of her there in the calm chilly air
Her yearning, I clearly could sense
With the night, bright and fair, as we climbed to our lair
Our new love affair, nigh to commence

As we stripped off our clothes, she struck a hot pose—
Made my blood boil with passion and zeal
With her beauty exposed, soon my manhood arose
Eliciting giggles and squeals

She knelt at my feet in our passion and heat
And firmly grasped hold of her prize
But, ere she could treat me to pleasure so sweet
Hell’s fire rained down from the sky!

The roar was intense and the heat made us wince
As the Christmas Dragon awoke!
“I command you dispense with this moral offense”
So loud was his voice, as he spoke

My stunned eyes revealed that this terror was real
Disbelief is no balm for the damned
And our fates were sealed, to become his next meal
At least, that was what he had planned

I froze in my fear, quite unable to speak
Paralyzed and unable to flee
But my love’s mind stayed clear and she sensed I was weak
And escaped by betrayal of me!

My girl answered quick while still clutching my dick:
“Hey dragon, I’m sucking his cock!
It sure is delish! Come, I’ll share! Take a lick!
When you’re done, if you like, bite it off!”

“Don’t let your haste make you miss any taste:
His testicles are quite the treat!
It would be a disgrace if his balls go to waste!
I promise—the sweetest of meats”

I felt crushed and betrayed by that beautiful maid
Who moments before I had loved
It was all a charade, as she coolly displayed,
As she threw me under the bus!

I was seized by his claw, drawn to gaping maw,
Rancid breath made me vomit and piss
The last thing I saw was that girl, with chutzpah,
Escaping while blowing a kiss!

With my legs spread apart, and my junk à la carte,
That dragon bit off all my sex!
How I hated that tart with the whole of my heart
As the dragon chowed down on my legs

Now a doomed bloody mess with no hope of egress
I rallied for one final feat
With much glee I confessed my girl friend’s home address
and I added, “Bon Appétit!”

Xmas List

Santa man living in the northern sky
For Christmas bring my daddy home to I
It's been three long years since he died
And every night since, mummy has cried
Cancer took him and I want him back
Don't you have room for him in your sack?
I don't want any other presents for me
Dearest Santa won't you hear my plea?

Last Christmas

Christmas is supposed to be a festive holiday
A time where friends and loved ones gather together
Yet last Christmas, all I wanted was to escape
And find my inner peace so that I don’t have to remember.

Christmas is supposed to be a time for family
Yet last Christmas was spent alone with my mother
Our family is broken; it was absolute agony
The hardship was purposely caused by my own father.

Last Christmas was spent praying for better times to come
We put our faith and destiny in God’s hands
I wished with all my heart for us to reach the light at the end of the tunnel
Perhaps once we pass this nightmare, I’ll then understand.

Betrayal is terrible, yet it’s pure torment when done by your own kin
The person who was supposed to be your unconditional protector
My one wish last Christmas was that he’d pay for his sin
And that the life of my mother and I will be better.

Oh, silly little fool
If only you knew
That things would only go from bad to worse
Yet, I keep my faith in God that something will come out of this
I have no other options but to let life play out
I just hope we’ll make it out in one piece…

with His stripes

infinite love
gift-wrapped in burial clothes
unblemished sacrifice
upon the altar
born to a world of
beastly offal stench
Good Shepherd
midst His lost sheep seeking shelter

a lowly feeding trough
cradles the King
a feast of slight appeal
to gluttony
Lamb to the slaughterhouse
of brutal men
persona non grata
dark litany

a cup that will not pass
by Sovereign Will
till every bitter drop
congeals the blood
a crown whose thorns must first
impale His brow
a sword whose blade must spill
His vital flood

He fancies not my gold
this King of Heaven
this Babbling Infant
soon my Royal Priest
sweet alabaster frankincense
i bring
to season up
the Sacrificial Feast

with myrrh embalmed for
vile Jerusalem
no beauty that we should
desire Him
we hide our faces from
His solemn grief
yet Agape would
thus inspire Him

His cradle is His grave
no lullaby
has future agony
from Him concealed
wounded for our transgressions
torn and bruised
that with His stripes
the broken may be healed…

Last Christmas
I suddenly realized
what Christmas
really meant

Merry Christmas
to the forgotten ones
the little ones
who continue to live
in fear and despair
Merry Christmas
to the homeless familys
because their governments
don't really care
Merry Christmas
to the misguided
vets
who minds and limbs
are M I A
who fought for a dream
that will never be
on these cold hard streets
where they wonder
aimlessly
like shell shocked
refugees
Merry Christmas
to the 90percent
who sit happily comfortably numb
within the flickering light
of there out of reach
plastic dreams
while being spoon fed
fools gold
and like mindless moths
they fly
to the flicking light
Merry Christmas
to the 9percent
who walk the path
between happiness
and despair
knowing
there is no
turning back
when you become aware
Merry Christmas
to the 1percent
who fully believe
that common sense logic
and empathy
should only belong
in the lands
of poor peoples dreams

Tapered and Finite

Billowing skirts and scarves
As we ran, laughing, like dried leaves,

Flushed at the neck and breasts
Under woven folds that fluttered,

Breathless between our shouts
Of life, and cold wind gusts inhaled.

Then you sped us away,
Forever friends, we were certain.
