Hungry For Darkness
‘ She was a tempest in a teapot
begging to be served. ‘
Within me there is a chasm
littered with disappointments
sparkling with detritic symbols
of relinquishment
where I, letting go,
falling at the speed of light
became a star.
A vanilla tempest
of pearlescent milky reasoning
blurred by surrogate shadows
so weary of rote.
It was here in this condition
I created a divide, a black hole.
The beast that rose;
a multitude of graspings,
in visions of darkness wherein
human grievances
sang harmonic.
Hands cupping the void
given to a resonant mirage;
a thralldom,
a turpitude of woes filtered
through its destruction
In syrupy servitude
we fell together.
I got lost in you,
eyes spinning like
a roulette wheel
to become Infinities mate.
Tell me how this will end,
show me disintegration
in a plastering of supple sustenance
to this sanitarium of being.
Never did I become so full,
overflowing with indiscretions,
the taint was bittersweet.
And in words I derived
such sane indignity
falling in rivulets along
crevices of occlusion.
Wherein I became a darkness
mirrored in libelous convexity
like no other lens could
to view my eradication
to become a million little deaths
in vivid hindsight as I fell
into fates inadequacy.
Here in the darkness I can see nothing.
I want to become part of the void,
to be embodied.
I want to see nothing.

Stone the Wall
You breathe it, you swim in it
You love the surge but hate it
Wishing that you can pound it in like a nail in a coffin
Wish you weren’t prone to it
Can’t help it
Try to drop it like a dial tone
Loyal puppy at your heels following you home,
It’s like the snotty little brother
Who insists on tagging along
Shrug it off like a vibe when homeboy throws you a look that’s ill
Try to gulp it down like a Benadryl
Boiling, steeping, a scalding pot of poison
I’ll take a splash of burgundy cream
In a cup of black and blue dreams
Chili peppers in my veins
Taste the embers charred in my heart
Forget it; there’s not enough sugar to douse me out
No doubt,better believe,no room for reprieve
Just leave, let me be;
I want to feel it soak me, a cherry bloody Mary
A hale hell hail hemorrhaging heartedly
Wreaking havoc with no apology
It’s like the tide that broke through the Leveys
A demons bubble bath
Washing everything in its path
A wrath on tap
Dorothy’s shoes couldn’t wish you away from the aftermath,
It would drown the Grand Canyon
Got enough antagonism to flambé a dragon
Chocolate fudge brownie delicacy,
Too hot, don’t touch me….
I want to plunge in zesty dudgeon
My lion scratching at its prison
Let it claim the wind,
Be loud as the Sea
Devour the silence
Lick the prize from its teeth
Bust to the hilt with having its fill
Wash it down with a glass of ruthlessness
And be a glutton, unscrupulous…
In it all, when you feel that crimson wave
& rage is the only solace you crave
Nurse it, clutch it & carry on
Thrash, slam, scream & clash……
Then let it all go, let it fly, let it fall & let it Stone the wall.

yours though exudes spring morn
sighing through your tender pores...
I pore over you...
Please,
free me by your clemency
Impurity bores barbed tusks in deep
flaying all humanity
And I would flay you baby...
feel you in my teeth
Glass divorces us, and yet
even yet...
have I to taste you
Frigid were you, the hour last
like winter;
now you bask
steaming under charms of heat
you in your room

lurking from a shabby kitchen seat
Thighs bare, shapely
olive
tawny in the dusky
musky
autumn air
Your hoard of summer sun
runs - rich as chestnut
You were a free-range one,
mistress to none
a thot who ought not disfavor
some closet savorings...
I somehow ungrip myself of guilt
Your breast,
a tanned span
A lucious...
sumptuous
ornate fare
I am dripping as you drip
Bait me my pet
for I am waiting
and I am unsure
that I can bear
to tarry as while you cool

BUTTERFLY
Time became oscillation
Indeed, a fruitless swaying
Of which there is no deviation
No bridge from tangents
To watch her, perpetual
Death equilibrium
Absorbing the paradox...
I can't save her...
Corroded by rust of inevitability
Would any heart react the same?
And every instance
That tarn of blood
Winnowed into my eyes
As a stream rejoins the sea
That image remains as I leap
And I never sleep
She knows nothing
Of how many selves I've held
And each time
I grow further from myself
Further from catharsis
In their perception...
My descent into bedlam
Was instant
And the dead fields of the past
I alone tend to the weeds
Back when I yet dreamed
Enough of this...
The butterfly in my palm
I rip off its wings
You are no longer my passenger
I am no longer yours
