Poetry Contest

Describe a moment when you felt really overwhelmed or imagined doing something real crazy
Ever got so pissed that you wished you could just let loose or act so nuts without any consequences whether it being getting fired, arrested, or just looked as weird.
Well picture that for me and tell me if you had a very stressful moment in your life whether at work or dealing with a relationship or parents whichever it may be and you just felt like going crazy.
And not necessarily in a angry, sadistic way more like a humorous " I don't give a f**** anymore"
way.
Or you were dealing with something stressful at the moment then describe how would you want to go crazy to take the edge off.

Rules:
- One entry only
- The entry can be as long as you want
- Title your write
- Have fun
- Be creative
- Visualize the moment you felt stress and think about what you would do as revenge
- Go crazy

No Laughing Matter

She looked me straight in the eye
Happily she picked my good eye
And with that smug look on her face
She said “You’re no fun anymore!”
“You used to be funny, acting stupid.”
“You’re no longer the man I married.”
This hit me like a punch in the guts
With stress and worry to drive me nuts

I pulled a funny face, told her a joke
Did a silly walk, did a crazy dance
Pulled down my pants, showed her my ass
Turned around and gave it a wiggle
Normally the would have made her giggle
But she stood there with the long face
Not a giggle, not a laugh. Not a grin
She didn’t even try to crack a smile

‘Shit! This was really serious stuff.’
Was this twenty years of marriage over
My heart and my mind both raced
Contemplating being dumped, rejected
Being single, unloved and neglected
Panic was replaced with a light bulb moment
‘If she wants crazy, I’ll give her crazy.’
‘I’m still funny, hell I make myself laugh.’

She was working in a posh department store
I had to make her laugh and yell for more
And so I hatched a cunning plan
To become her crazy funny man

I invaded dressed as a Caribbean pirate
Jumping from counter to counter
Swashbuckling the mannequins
“Anyone want a jolly rogering?”
Nobody saw the funny side
But she was belly laughing
I was escorted out by security

I entered the store like a cat walk model
Dressed to the nines in high drag
High heels and a crocodile bag
I stood in front of her counter
Both hands pushed my breasts up
“These puppies are bought and paid for darlings.”
I lifted my dress and showed them my ass
Nobody saw the funny side
But she was belly laughing
I was escorted out by security

The final straw dressed as a chicken
Told them I was finger lickin
Clucked around the store, pecking
All the staff came to see me, I shouted,
“I am a hen, would you all like to see my cock?”
Two police men arrived and arrested my
Then did their strip tease routine
They were two of my friends, I joined in
I have never seen her laugh so much
We were escorted out by security

“It’s great you’ve got your mojo back.”
“The jokes, the fun, the laughs, the crack.”
“You’re back to the guy you used to be.”
I was feeling now as bold as brass
I gave a wink and kicked her ass
She laughed

Let It All Out

I cannot live in a lifetime of sin and
Disappointment. I just simply want to
Hang off the ledge. I take my hand
And want to ram it into the wall. If you
Look at me like I am psycho or crazy
I do not really care because I am tired
Of being the sane one. I want the hazy
Fog to disappear. I want to get fired
Up and scream it all out until I collapse.
I want to cry until there are no more
Tears left. Maybe then the gaps
And hiccups will be gone. The door
Remains where it is. All I have to is
Step through its frame and be done.
For once I just want things to fizz
And fade out. I know that I still won.

Little Boys

They sit , then they swagger
talking shit , pile of wankers ,
mouthing off , in the distance
blood you'll cough , little fucksticks .

Acting big , dickhead thespians
but you frig , each ones assholes ,
like a twig , I'd break your backbones ,
do you dig , pricking buttholes ,

your heads I'll rip , from your torso's .

Hooded tops
and crap shellsuits
open gobs ,
brain cells absent
you I'd drop , in an instant
total knobs
of redundant .

Bring it on , fucked up scum ,
I'll beat you gone , double drum ,
I'll bounce you hard , that for a month
around you'll hum , you coward cunts .

Picking on kids , walking past
do you want some of this , I'll make you piss
your tracksuit pants ,
when I get near , all fear , it then comes out ,
you turn to tears , sniffing the beer
off the bar towels .

Imbeciles , infantiles
pick on me , or someone your own size ,
you act so big , new toys by your side
but when the fan hits the shit ,
you're little boys by mothers side .

My Madness Is My Sanity

.

The life of a sanity and insanity
I can't see the difference
when I'm looking at me

I'm not blind,
I can see
I'm no inhuman
I'm just another man

But when I look at my reflection
On YOUR mirror
I see a hole right in the middle
Where my heart is

I don’t want you to wear my shoes
Just try to look over your shell

From yours
To mine...

Aren't we the same?

Each;
Uglier than the other
Bloodier than the other
Stickier than the other
Fucked up than the other

You are covered in contrast
Mine is transparent

And you say I'm MAD?

Fuck you!

Unleashed twins

Put a bitch in a trance
She has no chance
To run, cry or scream
To be evil I was deemed
Cussing everybody
This bitch ain't sorry
For silence was my game
Mutha fuckers thought I was tame
Kick my bitch ass boss in the face!
And cut his boyfriend below the waist
Pulled my pants down and shit in the lobby
Oh here comes general manager slobby
Grabbed the mic and shouted I QUIT DONT YALL WORRY!

Asylum

1.  No Recall

I didn't see or feel or hear it coming.
And then I came to after the
Annihilation of all I thought I knew
Once I tumbled down the rabbit hole.

2.  Morning Glories

The whispers of clean linen
Float across narrow beds of

Brutality, and reflections
Of a summer's early morning,

As melodic rapid chatter
Of Tagalog plays through the halls

While pairs of girls in their scrubs
Disappear into recessed rooms,

To the sound of greetings weaving
Between a woman's cries of pain.

3.  Under the Snow

Triple digits of the season
Pass week after week outside,
Unnoticed by those doing time;
This asylum with arctic air.

Who are they kidding?
I've been here long enough to know.
I actually died that day,
And this, this is my hell!

Hell is not fire & brimstone.
It's a parallel world from which
No locks exist, yet no escape
To return to where you came from.

Patients, whose eyes you look into,
And no one is there!
It's where all fear goes at night,
Their voices are heard through the walls.

But those with their vacant stares
That I can't penetrate have their truths
Forever frozen in time
In cages where they walk in place.

The cold numbs hands & feet & thoughts,
But I feel alive because of it.
Like a mouse foraging under the
Snow while an owl listens above.

I know the pounce will come
Through the snow at any moment,
Bathing me with morning light
As owl talons sever my breath.

4.  Night Terrors by Day

Sooner or later it would come.
A wide-spread power outage hit
Just before dusk with its heat,
Just as dinner was being served.

I had learned to live on scant fare,
Being a diabetic
And having only one kidney:
My weight loss, lost in my blue gowns.

I was restless and felt cold air
As I walked with my cane to the hall,
Aqua socks with tread on my feet,
Toward the nurses' station.

Thick orange extensions snaked
Everywhere, and the "regulars"
Emerged to sit in their wheelchairs
To watch while I sat with ice water.

But all the hustle & bustle
Would agitate some patients,
Making them unpredictable
While staff was racing all about.

There was an old man known for being
Loud, and most disagreeable.
He wanted out of his wheelchair,
To go where he wanted, right?

Nurses would stop to secure him
As he protested and cursed.
The regs who knew him rolled their eyes.
I continued to sip my ice water.

Then I noticed the white-haired lady
I was chatting with was looking up
And said softly, "He's behind you."
I stiffened and hunched my shoulders.

I tilted my head just enough
To see the old man, his gnarly hands
Gripping the backrest of my chair,
Glaring down at me with eyes bulging.

"Get out of my way!" came the frost.
I bent lower against the chill.
"I'm sorry, I'm not in my wheelchair."
(Being stranded in a stiff wooden one)

I felt the spray of his spittle
On the back of my hand holding the cup.
"I don't give a God damn," came the blast,
"Get on the floor and crawl out of the way!"

5.  No One Will Know

Every evening, the asylum
Gives up its creatures of the night:
The stalkers who haunt the halls,
Who try all the doors to get in, or out.

And homeless creatures on two legs
Who I would often walk in on,
Using the toilet meant for me,
And watch the TV while I slept.

But no, in that place I could never sleep,
I used to be nocturnal years ago.
But all I could do now was listen
To the jungle cries and siren calls.

I'd stagger out to the empty lobby,
Hearing a man far off in his room
Calling out for someone to please,
"Dear God, TAKE ME HOME!"

The man in the next room in bed A
Hollered out from the open door,
"AH, SHUT THE FUCK UP!"
And I screamed, "YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP!"

Once I was back in bed, that same voice
As all slept while I laid awake, plotting, said
"Hey, give me some more Demerol.
Don't worry... no one will know."

For those who knew that I was gone (which was due to a terrible accident), here's some of what my time away was like - just a taste of it.
