Boiling lava erupting out of a volcano...
As steam pierces through the top of my head my fingers balled up into a fist and I clenched my teeth grinding them against each other.
I gazed at the floor, hoping and praying for it to open up and take me into it.
How can a person be so cruel? Taking whatever power is left in me just to make you feel good about you...
As one door closes and one reopens, you barricade it with your bullshit, just to suffer me and grin doing so.

Dear love,
i know its been two years since we last spoke but i have a few things to say. I remember the first time our souls connected, it was just one glimpse which led into a stare then the rest flowed like the ocean at the blue lagoon in Jamaica at nights. My soul ignited going to work because you were there, i would know the time you would be at a particular spot and would make request over the radio just to see you. You didn't say much neither did i but our hearts spoke to each other. Many days when i wanted to give up on life you appeared without any effort of me trying to see you...

Choices
I chose love
Despite the many broken trust and promises made.
I chose beauty
Although the world painted me as the monster for reacting to pain, lost and hurt.
I chose the right
When I’ve had a taste of the left of living fast, driving fast cars, living in the fast lane and gaining fast money.
I chose to survive
Because survival is my way of life, apart of my culture, it’s built in my DNA.
I chose to sacrifice
Instead of working a nine to five being bored of the everyday routine. I took a risk to try to conquer and master...

Not yet sober
As my dreams wither away
I sink deeper and deeper into drunkenness.
It’s that feeling of anguish that feels like an anchor is tied to your feet as life tosses you into the deep blue.
As all my mistakes and disappointments battle their way into my subconscious I fight against them to not sink deeper and deeper into drunkenness.
I don’t drink and I smoke a little but my racing thoughts drown and stifle me into a feeling of drunkenness.
My body feels numb as I sit and watch the time flies. Hours turn into days and the days turn into years and here I am fighting...

Dr Jekyll
Innocence sensed from a far
Yet darkness hidden in a scar
A scar so deep
Emotions and pain run steep.
Some says “she’s nice”
Some says “she’s sweet”
Others left with dark green mold and decaying feet.
Days would go by and even I would wonder
What my other side is left to ponder.
About and around I go
Leaving my victims blood dripping slow
Then making a masterly entrance which has its own glow.
Some says “she’s so nice”
Some says “she’s so sweet”
But only if they knew Dr Jekyll dance to its own...
