Rising With the Sun
Let the sunlight peak within the cracks and emerge
From the deep, dark shadows of the dusk from
The night before. Darling, let it force and urge
You out of bed as you face the day. Let it numb
The sleep that would not arrive as you lay tossing
And turning in your messy bed. The dry drought
Is forgotten. It is a new bridge you will be crossing
Over and into another day. Let us forget about
Mistakes and errors you already made because
The bright sun will erase them all just like that.
It serves as a reminder to enjoy every pause
And lingering moment when the sun is not flat.

The sun has set
Time to take flight
To search for lovers
Making love in the night
Suck the neck of Romeo
And the throat of Juliet
Fortified with passion
Lusty blood is the best
Love with no regrets
Is the sweetest vintage red

wonder about a sunny day
I was wondering on my way
If we’d have a sunny day.
It is not too much to ask
It is so free to go and bask.
Some would prefer to stay inside
Others see the sun their bride.
Some can see the sun at home
Behind the screen sat on a throne.
I prefer to have both ways
Watching you and the sun rays.
They are one bright and matching thing
Shelter the rays under your wing.
If we’d have a sunny day.
It is not too much to ask
It is so free to go and bask.

Others see the sun their bride.
Some can see the sun at home

what is it to be
a creature of the night
to cower in the desperate cries of
the multitude
stars fill the skies in the dark
because they're the ones afraid
they don't have the balls to shed truth
to stand alone
takes conviction
and the willingness to get close
so close you hurt them, a little
one among millions just means
daddy forgot to wrap up that
night
brings out the hordes
for drunken conquests
witnessed by
Big & Little

North
and the usual suspects
fuck that
I wanna be a true sun
take care of my mother

not many have the balls for that

Gimme The Night
I can’t remember the last time I saw a sunrise
I witness them every morning but I don’t see them
Blinds down, curtains closed like patterned coffin lids
I flit in and out of sleep, the pains are intermittent
But strong enough to repeatedly wake me up
I need medication but it is too early to indulge
I drift in and out until mid-morning. Seems excessive
I wake every morning with the mother of all hangovers
Mornings just make me feel like shit. Medication time
Lunch time and the medication begins to kick in
Afternoons come and go mostly they are uneventful
Evening rolls in as I roll out now ready to face whatever
Sunset is my favourite time it’s a switch thrown
A lever pulled it’s like I’ve been kick started lively
Darkness is everything
I own the night and
The night owns me
Nocturnal slavery
Euphoric insomnia
My levels of activity race ahead, all of a sudden I am busy
Levels of inspiration and creativity come to a rolling boil
