The commotion when you‘re close by

Then there’s that stare just between us
The connection raises the heat
I melt away into the groove
The way you move into that beat

I think I know what you’re thinking
A slight inkling of what you’ll do
But then the tempo picks back up
I’m just simply smitten by you

You see life  all around
I see death and dirty ground
You see flowers buds and seed
I see thorns and rotting weeds
You see  sunshine, I see rain
You see comfort, I see pain
You see fairies, woods and trees
I see wasps and killer bees

You like happy, I like sad
You like good, I like bad
You like Disney and chic flix
I like horror,slash and sick
You like soft, warm and fluffy
I like rough, scratch and scruffy
You like safe, plan preparing
I like risk and random daring
You like kittens, baby seals
I like animals that make good meals

You want jewellery, shiny stuff
I want cigars so I can puff
You want fitness to compare
I just want my comfy chair
You want order, no decay
I want war and anarchy
You want quiet, all is still
I want loud and overkill
You want sensual, soft porn, arty
I want racy, loose and tarty

We are strange, like chalk and cheese
And yet we’re truly devotees
We disagree on lots of things
And yet , together we bounce like springs
We should be in so much trouble
And yet we’re still a happy couple
Opposites at either end
Others just can’t comprehend
Joined securely at the hip
We still know how to jump and skip

My heart is only one and I have no other
but I shall give it away to you a thousand times
She knows she may be hurt, she doesn't really bother
She only wants to feel she's being loved when she reclines
Likewise a bass that echoes in psychotic pattern
love came as a melody of heavenly made guitar
Felicity undertakes the progress of each partner
but an unfilled reunion left my heart completely sad
A rather fatal exposure of her being unaware
made exhalation ache and her feelings unfair




My ruby hostess ticker says you are all she'll need
my mind answers back saying you're what ego wants
within a mental fight she always escapes to dream
leaving the brain counting of all the pros and all the cons
Silent observation of their imagination
collaborating together to give your energy a morph
spreads harmony in the air and there is no question
my heart always can tell what is exactly that I long
But she's can't see she's loved.. my mind loves her too
with their only common, they're both in love you

when I suddenly felt you

All of a sudden
I felt your arm
Organs vibrating
taking your form
There are no words
that capture the state
or any thought
to assimilate  
You turn my darkness
to luminous space
with running planets
as if they're late
They taught me love
seen by the few
watered my heart
so it grew
Imperial blossoms
convoke creation
there is no coincidence  
or discrimination
Sensual spheres
of masculine force
enter in feminine
then backwards
The outcome is
like nuclear fusion
Enormous potency
but major confusion

The Luckiest

Solar illumination crept    
into our final morning      
     
You reach for your      
medicine bag, open it      
place a buckeye seed    
in each of my palms –      
For Luck, you say    
folding your fingers    
firmly over mine.    
     
Your hair feather      
rests against my neck      
lead crystals reflecting    
a rainbow'd wall of  magic      
     
All 88 constellations      
set in your pupil'd      
irises in after-light    
     
We are weightless      
under pelts, natural    
as our own epidermis      
burning wood cracks    
branches somewhere    
beyond us, its heat      
preying eagerly      
on a lingering chill      
     
You read my eyes, ask    
if I’m composing poetry    
I say no, just thinking      
how as a little girl    
I always wanted    
to be loved by a poet,    
spend our aged years      
in the composition      
of beautiful verse      
born of inspiration    
between us      
     
You smile, your palm      
covers the entire side      
of my face, no trace    
of sorrow or jealousy      
crosses your gaze,    
only a deep respect    
for courageous truth      
     
You say you want    
that for me as well    
pray the Great Spirit      
will favor my wish    
     
I ask why – why    
would you pray    
that I be favored      
by a poet when  
in this moment      
I'm the luckiest      
being so loved    
by a poem    
     
A befallen silence    
strips our Spirits      
crystallized refractions    
explode across the cabin    
stars meet their season    
billions of miles from origin    
thermometers swell    
their mercurial red

A Lasso For The Moon


With wax from honeycomb
spread by my fingers
I molded this candle
to place in the window

Thee, thou & thy
sweeps the only rhyme my Dear
crush your velvet purse
to my cheek

Heaven held in heartbeat
how thro these ancient veins
course the youthful vigor
origin of wishing well

Wade with me my Love
let consume our tide and fallen sky
twine the fingers pear & cup
a world lost in lineage
with acquired lines
breadth to seasons through exhale
woven unique
fabric, lattice & underpin
insulate

Sky To Valley


I picked prose from the bottom of the buttercup
lit fires by the dragonfly
held in my hand touches of wanton
and here many times pledged of my promise

These accounts are dipped in chocolate baked with chili's and spice that You'll only find in
the concoction that love is

Were I the perfect man
Were my eyes no longer old
Were my clothes not filled with smoke
then my wizards cloak and robe
would serve
to wrap, envelop, hold, but instead

Lapse in the field of the spiritually empty

The rise from ashes came quick by way of the Phoenix
Blessed by presence
gift thought lost
culled by ages

And it is here I stand
looking out
knowing
what I've prayed
for
worthy

it is I under eye
who sets
propped before judgement
a strut for desire

while by iris
the colors of landscape
couldn't paint
finer grass
than fields of love
under pink sky and blue valleys

My Avian Knight

Don't stare at me   
With those smokey eyes   
My looks mean nothing   
And would fade in time   
I am sorry that you   
Have to see this broken me     
I am sorry that my heartache   
Caused you pain.   
  
If my soul could mate with yours, It would... 
But I'm afraid to turn your golden heart   
Into dust with my poisoned hand     
I wish my heart would listen to justifications   
And be wielded with the voice of reason     
  
If I could just love you instead, I would.   
But tonight, let me share with you   
My soul as shattered as it is   
Let me be one with you   
In body and spirit.   
  
I cannot stay knowing that I am   
Just a mere shadow of that person   
You deserve to be with.   
Let me grow back that missing piece   
Of feather that had fallen off   
Along with the autumn in my heart   
  
Fear not, my Avian Knight   
For in your nest I'll build my home
