Will you release my brain? It needs parole
Please set me free, from your mind control
I don't need you, to read me, the riot act
I don't need you, to feed me, a counter fact
Get out of my face, for it's mine, not yours
You don't need to know, about my idle cause

I don't need you to tell me what's right from wrong

A single tear

There’s power in the f**k off
not just the casual f-grenade
but the atomic fuck-all-the-way-off
until you reach the furthest point,
dream the impossible dream
and fuck off a bit further
like when my Mother called tonight
as she reeled off a bonfire of anxiety
about my Aunt and all her endless shit,
how they’re staying with her this weekend
and I wonder if all the victims
of Jeffrey Dahmer
would happily sit down
with the frantically chipped china...
but the atomic fuck-all-the-way-off
until you reach the furthest point,

and fuck off a bit further

Diving In
Anger and aggression arrived at the pool today as I was getting in to do some laps.
A man ( by gender only) accompanied by his pregnant partner and infant child became incensed when someone in the walking lane told them that the other pools were for parents with toddlers.
The language he used was foul,insulting and mysoginstic and repeated over and over so that all within earshot could hear.
At first I thought, as most would, that he was an utter toss pot but as I swam the black line I considered other things.
I wondered where his anger came from.Was he taught by example...

A Killing Of The Matrix
Cool sunshine, over an icy disguise
As a pastel blue, fills cloudless skies
But soon a wind, brought about a change
As a quiet landscape, turned to strange
A lone idling tree, hung naked upon a hill
As its emerald life, shuddered in the chill
The deep rustic hues, now fading colours
Silver-grey skies, with sickening pallors
Slowly awakening, after the sun set
As the skies turned dark, with the night now met
A gradual opening, of bloodshot eyes
Windows to a soul, that slowly dies
Red hot tears, streaked...
