Coach Trip

Across the border
The cold of the night
Shadows cast from street lights
Restricted but not hindered
My fingers slowly embrace
Among solitary travelers
My breath deepens
My body aware
Taking guidance with gentle care
Do it now, now stop!
Edging in the darkness
The storm beats back and forth
I need that release
Raindrops pool within my reach
No longer able to hold restraint
Silently I delight in my journey
As everybody sleeps
