Long long ago before I became a SCATTERBRAIN watching EVIL DEAD movies repeatedly, I was ACCUSED of VIOLENCE on HALLOWS EVE. The DIRTY ROTTEN IMBECILES (D.R.I.) who always needed an ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT lived near the WATCHTOWER. They agreed with my METHOD OF DESTRUCTION (M.O.D.). I dreamt I saw
through arched back door
wild scenes of war
from days of yore.
I dreamt I strode
where sea once flowed.
Whilst warm sun glowed,
my brisk pace slowed.
I dreamt I heard
notes, trilled and slurred.
One song; no word—
a clear toned bird.
I dreamt I knelt
where you once dwelt;
I did near melt,
so sweet it felt.

Dumbfounded
I sometimes have
Truly terrible dystopean dreams
Where nothing, no longer
Seems, what it seems
A myriad hells
All rolled into one
The nuclear aftermath
Blotted out the sun
Mutually Assured Destruction
Was as MAD as it sounded
Yet still the buttons were pressed
Which left the world dumbfounded
Sadly, the sabre rattling long passed
Destiny
Defined as not if, but when
And so, they bombed one another
Again, and again, and again....

You're the weapon of choice.
You're invisible in the rain.
My enemies better duck fast,
If they want to keep their brains.
You're supersonic.
You're a siren shrieking.
Fidget spinner in flight.
Intimidating and defeating.
All my enemies, they hide.

You put their minds out of focus.
Riding the jet streams.
All they see is the glare,
From an object unseen.

So fresh and clean.

The war is over?
I can't go on any longer
War wearied and worn soldiers
Fight battles for leaders
Whose hearts have grown colder
Hiding out in buildings of rubble
Machine gun fire doubles
While comfortable generals raise a toast
For map lines moving, ever so subtle
Clouds of debris from bombings
Innocent families sobbing
Cries from the dark night
Are stuck in my head, forever haunting
Friends tell me the war has ended
I'm back home and mending
But my thoughts are troubled
And I feel into hell, I've descended

MAN DOWN, MAN DOWN
Pigs came to the crack house last night
All the crack dealers and addicts scattered like roaches throwing their stash over the cement wall
The cops shined their little lights and tried to find the stash bags
But to no avail
The pigs rolled out and chased two dudes down the street
They ran one guy down who was crossing the street
When the cop got out of the car to see what he has done, another crack dealer shot the cop right in the face
"MAN DOWN, MAN DOWN"
That's what I heard from another cop on a CB Radio
Total carnage
Total mayhem ...
All the crack dealers and addicts scattered like roaches throwing their stash over the cement wall

Mad Demons
I’ve seen bodies splayed out in the street,
Serving as a warning for any of those who took opposition,
I’ve heard the artillery fire at will,
And oh so close,
Like mad demons let loose from hell.
I was a child so I didn’t really understand,
Why the situation only got worse, especially for the poor,
They were slaying guilty and innocent altogether,
In order to save democracy.
I only knew that once you heard the first shots go off,
An instant curfew was immediately in effect,
It didn’t matter if you were a man, woman...
