An aging hippie, gone astray, I've walked my life for over 60 years, with one foot in the everyday world, and the other foot in some other world. My everyday world included mathematics, fields, reactive power and real power (put not overt politics, grin).
I've played at being a musician since I was 14, I wish I could write song lyrics. I've scratched poems and thoughts randomly for years. I want to try and do so with more intensity and sincerity. I've just stopped being part of the 9 to 5 world. I want to step out of the world of predictable electro-magnetic fields and into the world of reality and unpredictable life.
In an effort of clarity:
I am/was an unwilling electrical engineer.
I am a better than mediocre lead guitarist.
I am an adequate singer.
I am Triumph Bonneville motorcycle rider.
I am a self proclaimed photographer.
I have eaten at several 4 Star Michelin restaurants, and I've eaten dinner from more than one dumpster.
I learned to speak French from les clochards, and les postitues. I had to relearn it before speaking to my grandmother.
I'm half French-Canadian, from PEI, and half Scots/English, which truly makes me a mongrel.
