I am constantly poisoning my mind
with the dark thoughts my heart pumps
matching the sounds of a broken city
These scars I have, I show with pride
I've made a habit of riding with the reaper
But never getting close enough to death
I write with a purpose to illustrate my life
until the day I draw my final breath
