Flickering
again
like god playing with a light switch
there, gone, there
unsure, doubts prevail
shaking my head
what did I actually see?
A beautiful face
a feral wolf
two images unite
and I just stare
into a dare
from blue/grey eyes
hearing a snarl in my mind
She writes something
slips it under my coffee at the counter
a phone number
with a missing digit
games
fuck, not going to call
But haunting eyes possess
three wrong numbers
on the forth got lucky, or did I? ...
again

The moon lay half cast
Across the midnight sky
Reflected on the shimmering ocean below
Like spilt milk
A wolf appeared, silent as the wind
Bristling fur, with blood stained fangs

my girlfriend says I’m hallucinating
it’s not what it seems
but I swear there’s beast out to get me
they wander in the night
with sharp teeth and claws
looking for their next victims
I saw one last week
devouring a young girl
who’d had her cloths torn
the monster chased me, but I got away
every night since
I been hearing noises outside my bed
I decided that I can’t live in fear
ready with my revolver
I went outside and faced them
towering around me
were half human half wolf creatures
growling...

Even when his tastes are a bit gory
I still find myself longing
And wanting
For his heart to belong to me
Enslaved by the moon
He drops down to his knees
The fullness turns him
To a creature that only sees red
