Watch her as she trembles,
a child of the desert,
eyes like the Oasis of Kadesh
lips parted to the climate
arid, mingled nitrate
praying for freedom
of an open sea
place her on the hay bail
when the night
approaches
and as the dawn comes
and the sun ascends...
Lay her on the pyre
be wary of the sirens,
for her ears are filled
with scarlet
in a land that's plagued
with disease

On the seventh Day of October
in the year Nineteen Forty Four
a boy was born just before the war
ended, a final desperate hour
He played among the ruins
of homes turned rubbles
fallen bricks burnt in crashes
heard throughout the years
he left the town of Osnabrück
he wanted to live elsewhere
wanted to try his luck
away from the effect of war
1944, on the flip of side of the coin
Tatars knew the swords
prosecuted by the regime
false accusations of collaborations

Wrong and right .
Her life is a constant dance between what she feels is wrong and right. She’s been a Catholic most of her life distanced and not totally agreeing with the mighty controversy of the guilt of receiving involved in believing. Would God really be this demanding? Would he ask you to enter a conflict that starts in absolutes that leads to conflict then hate that pick fights armed with guns carried by anger and explodes the vulnerable who didn’t speak but where told?

I've drowned myself in vapid tears
Decaying roots with no room to grow
Corroded with incessant fears
Distinguish between friend and foe
I've seen the armageddon
With raging wars in the fading sunset
While protestors are setting
The tables for the final banquet
The will to rule is fading fast
Like the forces on the front lines
Knowing rules will not last
For those who have an abeld mind
It's a losing situation

Childhood dreams assassinated.
Relationships are overrated.
A deep depression reinstated.
The lone and angry man frustrated.
Often has he contemplated.
How it got so complicated.
Too young to be emancipated,
thrown away and medicated.
Angry cells regenerated.
Ensuing anarchy elated.
The audience is captivated,
by the men decapitated.
Fervently infactuated.
A war machine incapsulated
within the mind initiated.
We’re left to be annihilated.

A neurological pathos of nightmares
spins webs of malignancy winding through
my mind.
It breeds a silent desperation for which
I isolate in kind.
Blood pressure forces the mercury
to climb as I’m blistered by an anger
that I simply cannot find.
Terrorizing memories looped to
constantly remind.
Tuned for war in laboratories that do not
exist. To speak such things is insanity, so
in lies the perfection.
Led beside the still waters where there

Funny What Sticks With You
As the fires burned
the sweet stench of diesel fuel
and human flesh infiltrated my senses.
The corpses of families strewn about,
decapitated children lying there
like broken dolls.
This was not their war.
Too long in the dirt boys,
sweat made mud and strangers
blood is painted on me.
I’ll be a macabre multilayered
masterpiece before we’re through.
I didn’t know some things would
never wash off.
