Teenage Vampire
how can you know the distance run
between the longing and the sun…
when I was just a little boy
they caught me with a rat,
about to sink my fangs in it.
the sun slanting between
the houses on that row
to where I crouched beside the hose and bikes
and contemplated blood.
they called me mad
and locked me up
and gave out pills
like sweets on Christmas morn.
they tried to unlock a room in my skull
that would contain the answers to my self.
abandoned at just four years old, ...

Cloudy night
There's a cloudy night and it's raining there's not many people on the street, the perfect time for hunting, to find myself a treat
People with the hoods up, trying hard to keep dry in the rain, eyes fixed on their mobile phones, they've disengaged their brain
Like a Barn Owl in flight I'm silent, I'm a quiet as a grave, they never hear me coming, it's the pretty ones I crave
Always it's the same, I love it when they freeze with the look of fear inside their eyes, it's over in an instant they've soon been glamoured and mesmerized
