We all have that one song.
That we remembered for very long.
The one whose lyrics is very strong.
And connects to us deeply.
The one that comforts us.
And stays in our minds neatly.
Maybe it's a song you heard as a kid.
Or a song you heard on the radio.
Maybe it's a song you like to sing.
Or a song you heard at a rodeo.
When the lyrics speaks to you in a way none does.
When the melody beats in your ears.
The way nothing else does.
Like the first time you heard it at a certain age.
And you grew up,you...

Christmas Morn
Christmas morn no snow.
Just a foggy sight.
That's feels just right.
Wisps of smoke billow in the still air.
Rising from a chimney pot.
Dazzlingly a dance of pure delight.
Morphing.
Decorating fluid like.
Of shape Designs and Ideas.
If only in my head.
This vision is short lived.
As it only occurs as the fire .
In the hearth is lit.
Dying down as the fire gets going.
As I could see on the house next door.
Turned into a heat hazed wisp'er.
Lit sometime earlier this Xmas morn. ...

Just Another Day
watching a gull fly into the wind
no flapping just weaving its way
tempest and torment meaning one thing
it's just another day
of getting to know some of the crows
in the neighbourhood
when eye to eye ground to the sky
they're thinking if only I would
give them all something to eat
as I've done often before
sometimes berries or bread as a treat
sometimes something more -
people keep moving all around
jogging, on bikes and in cars
walkers with strollers making kid sounds
under the unseen stars
...

They say the poet's weapon is not a sword.
But their words and pen.
Sometimes,not a pen.
But a feather of a hen.
A poet's power can depend.
And cannot be measured.
They can win fights with just their words.
And open gates to new worlds.
Worlds they create and write.
They can be the kindest you've seen.
And create your fate.
A poet is like a god in their own world.
That they write on their own.
Their power can be unlimited if used right.
In their room,in their home.
They are the best ones...
But their words and pen.

The Diamond Tree
One day,you were walking home at night.
In the storm,with no fright.
Something was sparkling in the sky.
But not just the stars.
You find something far away.
That looks like it will never decay.
It resembled a tree.
With diamonds on it,that will set you free.
Maybe it was all in your head.
Maybe it was an illusion,a threat.
But when you followed the thread.
You became amazed.
With diamonds so shiny,you became dreamy and dazed.
Your feelings were happy,amazed.
With your fascination unphased.

Weeping Skies
Please pray for Los Angeles!!!
The skies are so gray,
with such a dark gloom,
I can smell the rain,
I hope it comes very soon.
The air is so windy,
The Clouds are set,
Hoping Raindrops fall,
Thus far, nothing yet.
The gray Skies are ready,
Perception predicts Rain,
Of All of the burning Forrest,
I pray this in Jesus Name.
Los Angeles is now Burning,
As an arsonist runs free,
Oh, Please stop these fires,
I beg this and I plea.
As the burning slows down,
It's a sad...
