Not The Weight Loss Miracle He Had In Mind
Norman created a formula
that might make him become thinner.
But after he gulped down,
he felt strong pains and blacked
out. When he woke up,
he looked at the
mirror. He
is now
She.

Under den Linden
Unter den Linden
I have a soft spot for the German language
when a toddler, I had free access to a military camp where they had enormous horses and let me sit on top of one of them (looking up horses,
I think they were Belgian draft horses)
Since I was 5 years old at the time, I reserve the right to be wrong
My mother said I could speak a little German
I don't think so, but when the Brits and the Americans came, my few words of German were too soon forgotten.
In the late fifties, I was onboard an old ship that
had survived the war but...

A Warped Tree
Today, when not arguing with Walter the Jew
on Facebook or Twitter
the ambiance in the house was surprisingly calm since I got a key to my study in peace to read my latest collection
and found, at times, the poems had an internal rhyme and were little stories
The pity is, I have to write without a publisher and
can't afford to hire one, those I dare to ask run a thousand miles, one of them a poor man, is a lecturer in Udevalla
Last year, I visited a crooked tree so shy its roots curled in bashfulness, and its leaves took an autumnal...

Petals
There once was a Rose hidden from sunlight
Even in the shadows it shone so bright
Thorns so sharp, though seldom inflict spite
Through harsh times, it prospered with all its might
But plucked were the Petals by those close
Abused and battered by the lowest of the lows
Afraid to blossom only for them to dispose
Deserving to flourish in the most beautiful of meadows
Even in the shadows it shone so bright
Thorns so sharp, though seldom inflict spite
Through harsh times, it prospered with all its might

A Journey through Sexuality and Gender
i was taught as a child
Straight was the only way
It was never acceptable
For anyone to decide that they were gay
men who liked men
lived their lives in sin
A disgusting abomination
As time went on
I left my dogma behind
i opened my eyes
expanded my mind
Why should I care if a guy wants a guy?
Once or twice, one even caught my eye
It wasn't wrong
But it still wasn't good
They were often cast out
And always misunderstood
I thought that I believed that it really was alright
But I realized even I was still...

Moving On
last friday i attended a review with the gender clinic, and the primary points were with regards unfinished changes, which i'd sidelined, due to my heart ops, with regards voice training, and epilation, as i was focused on the actual reassignment surgery, which was successfully completed in May 2019.
she still remembered, as being wonderfully colourful. i said that i was now much more comfortable with my voice as it is, and that yes that i was still occasionally misgendered, but that was usually on the phone (even today) which makes me wince, but it is what it is, and on the phone, it is...

traveler'd regret
Traveler's regrets
He had been a sailor all his life, a traveler trying to find
the boy he left behind in the haste of becoming an adult.
An autumnal leaf falls into a stream, follows its course
but sometimes, there is a tiny inlet where the leaf gets stuck with other debris before getting loose again and drifting where the stream meets, a river that ends in the sea, becomes a mud bank full of nutrient-attracting
red snappers.
Often, he senses the pain the world suffers at the pain of
the futility of life, to stop for a moment contemplating

Heart, Body, And Soul
kind of thinking, and reminiscing about the various psychologists, and psychiatrists i had to see during my transition. i told one, that i didn't feel as though i had any 'dysphoria', and that i know my label is a transwoman, but i said "that i feel as though i'm simply a woman, built with one digit to many!" a kind of unwanted +1!!!!😏 she wrote in her report, that she had no reservations in referring me, and that i was very colourful, with a good sense of humour! four plus years later, it's the best thing ive done, as i'm now finding myself, and being me. my brain is still...

The Straight People Express
We’re boarding an exclusive automobile.
This transport doesn’t carry LGBT people.
If homosexuals are waiting on the road,
We’ll pass them and we won’t look back.
If we see any lesbians hitchhiking,
We won’t stop and give them a lift.
If stranded bisexuals flag down the vehicle,
We’ll just pretend not to see them.
If transgender people ask for a ride,
We won’t let them travel with us.
But if we meet heterosexuals along the wayside,
We’ll stop and say, “Welcome aboard.”

Gays Want a Free Ride
The author has something to say about LGBT people especially homosexuals and lesbians.
What exactly are they contributing to the current development of humankind?
How will they help the world to survive with sodomy and sapphic practices?
The future generation cannot come from anal sex and same-sex marriage.
LGBT people would become extinct if they were living in a place by themselves.
Some bisexuals have biological children; we cannot say the same for transgender people.
Gays do not produce offspring, but they want to adopt the children of...

Identity
every time i'm misgendered
a little part of me dies inside
rarely said with any intent
being truly me
is sadly not the me
that others hear, or see
it's nobodies fault
last night, as i tried to sleep,
my eyes remained dry, i did not weep
but i knew deep inside
my loneliness i try to hide
but i still put on a happy face
as i rejoin the human race
and maybe, one day
will love me for being the woman i am
time for sleep 🦋

Unlucky Thirteen
the tea was fine,
whilst supping in the sunshine,
the calm before the storm,
when i lost all form,
and hoped today,
doesn't become the norm
where in the middle of town
shouted at me "there's a man in a dress!"
my heart sank
below a frown
