Zoo, Not Logical
Periods, pregnancy, and the menopause
I have, and never will endure
Male violence however
Has on many times, left me insecure
As they beat me, and kicked me
And one time hit me with a sock
Which contained two snooker balls
Repeatedly hit upon my head, my brains to unlock
My nose had been bloodied
My eyes black, and blue
The only message from these bastards was
"We really hate you!"
But somehow i survived this
Many times i thought i'd die
As bloodied tears, ran down my face
As i would often...

A Changeling Of A Different Ilk
My mind floats
Surfing
Along the flash tides
Of my memories
That jingle
On the shingle
The ebb
And flow
Silent echoes
Of the ghosts
Of another lifetime
That now feels
Like a newly forgotten dream
But then
The sudden realisation
That within these dreams
I am no longer
The person i once was
I am now this new entity
That i awaken to
Every day

Truly me

Memories Of A Penis
It's funny
Something i once had
For over 60 years
Of my life
Is now long gone
And i don't miss it at all
However
I still have memories
I mean
I am a father after all
And still sign my cards
To my lovely daughter
As dad
And yes
It bis a bit surreal
But this surreality
Keeps it real
Although i wasn't physically born
A woman
I don't have periods
Nor have i given birth
And sometimes
I'm not quite sure what i am
For what it's worth
I had lots of girlfriends
And oft fell into...
