my way

spiral
of lights,

heard
the stories

i enjoy
these
late hours,
i am
sprawled
out and
loitering
on my
nearby lawn,
face up
and looking
toward heaven,
counting stars
as wishes,
and then
a rain
shower
appears,
i lay
there

wet grass,
