Complicity in the Stars
When fragile
things collide
into constellations,
when struck
the glass volleys
off graphite.
At once
nothing like it was,
a container un-becomes
itself,
several imparts meet
the meat of a thigh.
Sharp transparent
hubris of life
finishes on tile,
sharp beading red dwarves
upon skin,
these are
the collusions
of nightly fragility.
things collide
into constellations,
when struck
the glass volleys
off graphite.
At once
nothing like it was,
a container un-becomes
itself,
several imparts meet
the meat of a thigh.
Sharp transparent
hubris of life
finishes on tile,
sharp beading red dwarves
upon skin,
these are
the collusions
of nightly fragility.

my little boat
my
little boat,
sorry
to see
that sun
go down,
now
that misty
darkness
sank
closer
to the
treetops,
i weighted
my
little boat
in a
small harbor,
the moon
overwhelming me,
i lay
awake
to watch
the stars
in their
shadowy river,
falling asleep
in my
little boat.
little boat,
sorry
to see

darkness
sank

i weighted
my

No thimble...
In a sewingroom
ten agile fingers
moving around
the fabric parts.
pins and needles hidden
sting the fingers
and pierce the skin
under the weight of work.
where's the thimble
that's been bought past times
for the disjointed fingers,
so complex fingers?...
where are all
the thousands of thimbles
that one's been taking home
for the last centuries on?
ten agile fingers
moving around
the fabric parts.
pins and needles hidden
sting the fingers
and pierce the skin
under the weight of work.
where's the thimble
that's been bought past times
for the disjointed fingers,
so complex fingers?...
where are all
the thousands of thimbles
that one's been taking home
for the last centuries on?

up in the hills
those hills,
not
mountain high,
not cloud
cover high,
but well
enough above
the flat
land below,
above the
city noises,
where
it seems
as if
the nights
let
the stars
visit, right
above
the treetops,
lasting
long after
the sundown,
the flowers,
and we
are gone.

Little Stars
Fireflies shine
Like little Stars
Dressing up
The night
