escape the hurt, of relationships that don't click
I'm offbeat with my thoughts
a missing something, others have
a natural flow
I'm too honest, this is a problem
filtering through sunlight
it comes out blaring, not shiny
it could be beautiful, if I was normal
picking up on nuances, others miss
seemingly I'm off, with the body language
reading people in their depths
forgetting, I'm not supposed to be picking up on this part of a person
people are caught off guard, by what seems quite normal for me

The Eagle's Scream
where chaos reign with evil
and darkness harbours angels
in the perpetual celestial battle
children of light with fallen brothers
where beacons of light
the clashes of angels righteous swords
the good and everything right
fights with all pleasures and delight
the voice of reason pure and bright
Illumination of heaven's holy light
piercing through the hearts
of man wishing to do right
and from the skies
rumbles the thunder to announce
the beginning of the end
the coming of the alpha and omega

False Dilemma
No burden of chains
created to be free
and with that comes
eminent responsibility
Absent the belief
my path predefined
options and alternatives
selection unconfined
Truth I am not immune
consequences for choice
with some I shall suffer
