My friend,
The adulterer
I spent so much time with
She smiles with bright eyes
But doesn’t feel alive on the inside
My friend,
She falls in love so easy
Sometimes it makes me queasy and sick
It’s almost like the flick of a switch
Off or on, off or on
Until dawn;
She stumbles in
I ask, “where have you been?”
