cross-country journey on the tracks
[No. 8 from The Children’s Collection]
“Neither a wise man nor a brave man lies down on the tracks of
history to wait for the train of the future to run over him.”
—Dwight D. Eisenhower

at the bog walk tunnel she dissolves;

journey
life as a notion seeking its ocean
“He who does not know his way to the sea should take a river for
his guide.”—Blaise Pascal
gentle river,
cheerful giver
of your life-sustaining ink,
let me with thee
take the journey
to thy oceanic rink.
in your nature
lies my future,
e'er persistent to your goal;
absolutely,
resolutely,
pressing on, you joyful soul!
still defending,
never bending,

Castor Canadensis
Pale beams on frost pale ground;
the rutting moon has come and gone
and then the Beaver moon hung around
to show the whitefish where to spawn
as she trailed the Pleiades
from early evening, through the night,
then down through all the leafless trees
to charm antipodean sight
by gibbose ostentation gloss
hued as gold as the Bifrost locks
of Hyperion and Helios
and the lumen lovely boondocks
of lodges that the beaver built...
with sticks and stones...and moonlit silt.

country summer days
No. 5 from The Children’s Collection]
"Summertime. It was a song. It was a season. I wondered if that
season would ever live inside of me."—Benjamin Alire Sáenz
when city schools are closed,
and freedom recomposed,
i pack my bags and catch the country bus,
excited by the thought
that summertime has brought
elusive liberties so envious.
the bumpy country ride
on treacherous mountainside
is no deterrent to my thumping heart,
steel-anchored to my seat,
tethered by outstretched feet,
like luggage...

Don't You Want To Join Me In A Skinny Dip?
Nancy
stripped down and
got in
the water before
she saw Harry still
standing on the shore
with both
eyes staring
at her.

i saw myself in the river
a child in danger at the waters’ edge
No. 2 from The Children’s Collection
i saw myself in the river,
though scarcely could i swim;
my whole self started to quiver,
while stood i on the brim.
i danced about like a vapour
with hands and feet and eyes,
as floaty as human paper;
the waters were my skies.
at first, i loved the excitement:
it seemed that i could fly!
but when i saw the embankment,
i knew that i could die.
the trees and hilltops were seeming
to make me sail upstream;
how could i stand there...

He was swimming in a sea of other people’s expectations.
Men had drowned in seas like that.”―Robert Jordan
he was a conquerer

he had all that it takes:

he swallowed half the lake—
more than his lungs could take.

WHERE THERE IS PEACE
Do you know what it means to the mind and body and soul, to be able to elevate your inner voice as you speak, to the deepness of your being that inside is you the person from within 🤔 Do you know what it means when you lose, all touch of the illusions of the world 🌎 but YET you can't put your finger on it yet you know that, it's been there since the beginning of the time of your, birth into the world 🌍 FOR it is necessary for you to think and feel, and see 👁️👁️ the affects as the facts spread across and cross into through your thoughts....

TO ESCAPE FAR AWAY
Let's examine something that can affect your thoughts and imagination, with a image and sounds of translating the process of your mind 🤫 For lets clear our thoughts and the sense of our well being, in a wonderful place of peace and tranquility with the sounds of clean clear water falling down from above 🤔 Now I want you to close your eyes and to think not like me, I just want you to think about a place that offers you. A sense of calmness.🤫 As it is reflecting and feeding on the mere, vibes that is illuminating positive ENERGY that is slowly. Entering and going through...

time and the river
"Time is like a river. You cannot touch the same water twice, because
the flow that has passed will never pass again..." —Edith Besha
i.
i watch each second drift from me,
just as the river flows to sea:
i cannot hold it steadfast in my grasp.
the water clings not to the rock,
nor time recesses on the clock,
their present tense as fleeting as a gasp.
ii.
procrastination is the curse
that blots the human universe:
time dozes not, nor rivers take a nap.
the moment we...

The world is full of banks and rivers running between them, of men and
women crossing bridges and fords, unaware of the consequences, not
looking back or beneath their feet, and with no loose change for
