the price of water
The price of water
Driving down from Eyrie- I said that
to sound educated, I never had much schooling
and often feel inferior when asking for the price
of a packet of margarine
I was thinking of God's existence; is he a man
or a woman, perhaps an unfortunate person
who wears a suit to work but would rather
wear a smart lady outfit.
I wondered if he was in charge of the rainbow
if so, I would like a brighter color; the rainbow
looked pale as a sullen milkmaid at six in the morning
tell him to let the rainbow show where it...

Now
You have a memory to show you who you owe,
Imagination builds the road to follow,
Senses gist you what you think you know,
Drizzles of persuasion soak you to the bone,
But instinct is not yet overthrown.
‘Now’ is just a nearby port,
A lucky harbour where your time is caught,
But like a slackened vessel, soon unmoored,
Then cast and lost to drifting thoughts,
A murky fog from then it haunts.
Beyond the haze, now there to distract,
There’s still exists a muddle of paths,
Trampled down on your behalf.

Energy
I gave out too much energy.
To be given nothing in return
I let you into the soul of me
No wonder I was burned.
I entered a realm I had no business to
Isn’t it any wonder my stomach churns?
I am pulling back what I gave so freely.
It’s time for you to yearn.
To be given nothing in return
I let you into the soul of me
No wonder I was burned.
I entered a realm I had no business to

The Feast of Decay
Foolishness and Error walk hand in hand,
Their chains bind tight both soul and flesh,
As Man, enthralled by shadows grand,
Nourishes guilt, though bound afresh.
Sin stands defiant, repentance meek,
While trembling vows the spirit drain.
In tears, Man finds the peace they seek,
Yet falls to murk and mire again.
Enthroned above, the Devil grins,
Craftsman of craft, he works unseen;
He shapes our will like molten glass,
And hones our lead to keep it mean.
The Devil's strings direct the dance,
With foul delights...

Starfilled Shore
It was a serene night.
And stars were in sight.
You began to walk down the shore.
On the sand filled,ground floor.
You began to walk as you got out of the door.
The stars were twinkling in the sky.
Like nightlights far away.
Maybe you seek peace.
Or a place to collect your thoughts.
Maybe you wanted silence.
And to drown out the negative thoughts.
Out on the shore, sat a girl as pretty as can be.
She had bright,blue siren eyes.
She had red hair,love symbolize.
Her lips were a share of red.

my aunt
My Aunt
A Sunday of yore is still visible
floats around my mind at the edges of memories
send signals, how much I loved her, but she
had taken the train to visit her father
A Sunday that had no worries about tomorrow
other than if Inter café closed early, I would
arrive too late
I walked in familiar streets thinking, happy thought
Suddenly, I was outside my aunt's house
she was of the festive sort, a great talker, not for her t
o spend a Sunday reading books; Sunday was
also, the day she baked coco macrons
What a great day,...

the lizard of misery
The Lizard of Misery
He had traveled long distances before going back
to when child
Stopped at what had been his parent's house
someone else lived in their flat perhaps, a child sleeps
in his bed and dream his dreams.
He was overwhelmed by a sudden sense of loss
but his childhood
had been tough, a sleeping bag as a bed
He had, as an adult, constructed his own childhood
one he came to believe and told other people over
and over again
The lizard, on his back, was set free to glue itself
in someone else's misery

Stopped at what had been his parent's house

I May Be That Girl
I may be that disabled girl who's so sick she cannot work a normal job, but she's the artist that will save so many lives. She's the artist who knows that her art will heal herself in a way a normal job can't.
I may be that girl who was rarely ever chosen, rarely ever picked, but I know now that I will let love find me. I need many years alone. But I'm a caring individual who won't beg for love; I will things happen the way they're supposed to.
I may be that girl who thinks she'll off herself if things get too hard, but I'm going to try anyway and do this artist thing....

Was originally an introvert
but realized that it was a condition
that hindered him
He became an aggressive extrovert
to be able to write
not to forget to be considered
a hell riser
in his wring we see he wanted
to introspective and often disappeared
for days to be alone with his
inner self, his alter ego if you like
His obvious hell riser drinking problem
was a testament of this torment
He reached his goal to be taken serious
as an author
in the end his burden killed him, long ...

When we are shifting energy
It's me again the story teller of unspoken words ✍️ what do you believe within your own thoughts and insight and imagination. For do you wish to make your life better than it's ever been, for do you have the ability and power to eliminate the negativity, and replace it with positivity. For sure we all have the ability to manifest that which we pray for in our lives and dreams. For do you believe in your dreams with a want and need, to sustain your own wishes for do you have the perseverance, to meet the challenges that will elevate you to your true spiritual potential. For do you...

The August heat is hotter than other summer months
more lethal going in for the kill,
The olive trees gasp, bark crackles and leaves hang
lifeless, but the sun keeps on shining

where one could have a pint of beer without eating
a sandwich that has been the norm
The idea was to stop people from drinking alcohol
