Trump's speeches are half Hitler and the other half Mussolini
his mind is as soft as over cooked linguine
His brain is working at less than 2/3rds
and at every campaign stop he slurs his words
He espouses conspiracy theories about things that are untoward
this poor man belongs on a psych ward
DJT is mentally ill
and can't afford to pay his 464 million dollar bill
The MSM is dodging this issue still
and unbiased journalism is now a lost skill
Four more years of Trump and American Democracy is through ...

The Other America
Blacks here live in places like N'awlins, B-more and Chiraq
where hard working people have to watch their back
Because from both the cops and criminals we are under attack
and the courts will not cut us any slack
Our country is divided by an ethic, religious or political wall
in order to survive my people climb mts. that are Everest tall
We live on a social-ecomonic isthmus
Where crimes on us by both Whites and Blacks we witness
At best, for us the glass that hold life's joy is only half full
but, least we are no longer...

Public Enemies of States
Being melanated put targets on our backs
The Hate U Give cause we're so called Black
Deck's been stacked and we know the deal
Lashes on our backs not given time to heal
Using steel to kill and extinguish dreams
Even skin folks are playing for other teams
It seems that green is all that they pursue
Here in the lands of the red, white & blue
Where hue may hinder growth & ascension
Remaining stagnant as if we're in detention
An affliction better known as P.T.S.D.
Shell shocked flocks; post traumatic slavery ...

Your Brother In The Struggle
We came here as his chattel
sold on auction blocks like cattle
Our women he raped and disrespected
even today they remain unprotected
They laughed, smoked, ate and drank
while bodies of hung black men rotted and stank
Now shoot us like rabies carrying dogs in the street
or take us to jail after our heads they beat
It is sad to see
that after 300 years we are only semi-free
All these things in my mind I juggle
as I remain your Brother in the struggle
sold on auction blocks like cattle
Our women he raped and disrespected

No Monarchies!
Of the rich the poor should be suspicious
since we remember from old afflictions
that too much cash makes them injudicious
and prone to corruptions and addictions.
Evil hides behind tradition's shield
and unchecked influence leads to bad things
which is why old Yankees took to the field
to tell the world that...WE DON'T NEED KINGS!
Yet now we're told to kiss the rich man's ass
and that any sort of foment is treason.
But sometimes, when the boss is ungodly crass,
that fomented voice...is the voice of reason!

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sing
By Any Means Necessary (Happy Birthday Martin Luther King, Jr.)
I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Mama, I know why the caged bird really sings
When the mind as an offering hears sovereignty echoed from the mountains let it ring
From the cradle of birth is to give authority to our mental dreams
Our deferred aspirations we seek to the highest of our esteem
How can I learn to fly when my heart cannot even walk ...

Oh where oh where is the pro-life lament
in solidarity to Gaza grief
from the reflex munition leitmotif
so ethno-nationally heaven sent
to banefully fall from the Zion sky
so kosher can care for Israeli moms
by making more room with David Star bombs,
often as not from Pentagon supply
where inventory makes the dollars fly,
and soon by suitable escalation,
promotes the denizen decimation
ensuring that the sacred troops don't die;
valued now more than the woman and kid
who don't quo the pro with near enough...

Prefixed.
They are referred to as " americans "
but, prefixed with this word ' black, '
or ' native ' or ' jewish ' or ' hispanic '
but never prefixed - White - and, that's a fact.
As John Wayne shoots another red-injun
and drawls, " the only good un is one who's dead '
and " that's the way it's done son, with a gun "
with such pictures the weak-minded are fed.
black becomes derogatory
as do native, spic and jew,
but it's White folk who write the story
drop the prefixes, start anew.

I sometimes wonder
how we coexist
when we're not on
the same page
about some really
important things
Hell, we're not even
in the same book
on the same shelf
or same section
of this library
I'm not even sure
we're in the same library
And you resent me
for closing down every conversation
that could lead to an argument
nevermind
that you find me too emotional
and can't have a conversation
with me anyway
because my intensity
makes you uncomfortable

To a Faithless Colonialist
But this must have been before his - let us say - nerves, went wrong …” - Heart of Darkness
Reverberating like a carefully controlled
music. The trees in fact betray
no conscious hand. The night has polled
the peaks and valleys of the fray,
the dark metropolis that is your heart,
and found no truck with national charms.
Your nerves aren’t right. A child’s art
cannot disguise the bloody, outstretched arms.
You will not say a word. And if you do, I’ll wrap
my worsted hands around your throat, and tell
the King you died in love’s...

THIS WORLD OF OURS
Through this world and as in life and love during the process of not, being able to see and feel the beauty of life from all of the illusions of hatred. Amongst the things that we have done to ourselves and each others. For there's things that we can't just explain away, in simple words and phases of what life really feels like, to be able to just escape from the madness outside the window of your room. For by not looking from within ourselves and others how can we change, if we refuse to face the process of being truthful and look deep within you and me cause laying beneath, the mere under...

I looked at the racist and sighed ..
bloke on the bus nudges me
and says, pointing to an asian couple,
“you see ‘em
everywhere these days..”
I don’t believe I’ve ever met
them before, I replied.
