Those sister signs have got it in for me
They personify day
that burning star
hanging in blue skies
like a stranger, my
pupils dilating in
and out settling
into the light
they shed.
I personify night
that bombay cat
under a streetlight
replicating chaos
beneath a humid
dark summer sky,
cleaning whiskers
in the aftermath of
marking their skin
in rituals, slowly
peeling away a
unfamiliarity in
their core.

I’m glad this wasn’t
I love you endlessly
I wish I could have made you feel it
Instead of the loneliness I left you in
When you decided to tell me your heart had already made up it’s mind and I think you gave me a last ditch effort to make me feel better
But it didn’t make me feel better I feel worse knowing I was trying for nothing
But maybe I wasn’t trying for nothing
Maybe I wasn’t trying maybe I’m making up stories
I’m not sure what I can believe from my brain anymore I know I’m sick
And shitty
Really really shitty....

At the dawn of bliss, our story took a twist,
Into a raging tempest, my heart couldn't resist.
Once adorned with adventure, our link did thrive,

I am not made to be any man's...

I don't believe it's possible

I would blame it on my many fractures
...they can be a lot to manage
the nature & texture of my damage
...never an easy street
but truth is...it's just me

Going up the stairs leading to her flat the steps appeared to be in pain not used to anyone walking on them at this hour
The kitchen door was open I entered into a bare, but clean room no modern kitchen equipment here, but an old wash basin made of tin hung on the wall
