Pugilist Theory
Slipping on a banana peel total disgrace
Southbound rocket is drifting out at sea
Tragedy crawling across his wicked face
Cruel intentions for those who disagree
Violent whispers in a radioactive breeze
Digital parasites corrupt a fragile mind
Pigheaded fascist spreading his disease
Day of the dead blind leading the blind
Empires fall history has taught us that
Continuous circle repeating the mistake
Good folks starving while greed gets fat
Murder the dream the system will break

Keeps on ticking
Minutes and seconds are passing us by
My one wish is to stop the hands of an enemy we call time
Time will age
Time will heal
Time will drag
Time will kill
No one has any idea what will happen in the next second
But only time will tell

Ishtar
Easter Sunday, the day of resurrection,
As we celebrate Christ's rising from the dead,
I believe he did rise,
But the word Easter was taken from a Sumerian religion called Ishtar
The eggs and bunnies are symbols of fertility rites
She was the Goddess of love and war for many ancient cultures
And her legacy lived on in more modern societies
In the Western world today, we celebrate Easter
and have long forgotten where our iconic symbols originated from
Surely it's a lot of fun to color Easter eggs
But it has little to do with...

David Lewis and the concept of bearded men
The concept
of us in all time
and in no time
at the same time
a bitch-baby concept
to grasp.
Because the multiverse theory
says there are
infinite worlds,
and we exist
in some form
in each
So I assume rather
arrogantly
that a version of
Me
You
Us
wafts through all
space and time
in a philosophical
reduction
that we call:
quantitative parsimony
Each thing is a thing. ...

Effects of passion
The effects of passion can be sweeter than sugar, but coated with the venom of a black widow spider, hanging in a spider 🕷️ web 🕸️ of silk thread 🧵 for sure it's necessary to understand what I'm saying can be taken in so many ways when it's about love mix with passion fruit 🍑 Now that I've got your undivided attention, let's take a closer look at what I'm saying 🤨 For when love is good it's a blessing in disguise, but when the love is bad, it's so hard to get away from the negativity, and drama and confusion and madness. But regardless...

ODE TO RUTH WESTHEIMER 1928-2024 (DOCTOR RUTH)
Goodbye to "Doctor Ruth",
long were you in the tooth!
Sex guru from our youth.
you spoke of It the truth,
without being uncouth,
neither sounding aloof.

I wish
I wish
I were your dish
So you would
handle this china ware
with love and care
bang me on your table or bed
but be careful not to break
Lay some meat upon me
hot and spicy as you like it to be
Use your fork and spoon
Play some tune
Raze me ,cut me
or tickle me ,whatever you wish
Eat mousse off me
holding this plate gently
Lick off the choco sause
lick until I'm clean
carry me in your hands
to wash off...

Marriage Stuff
We come and go
Independent contractors of a life
Watching the news together
A slow motion work in progress
Together many years
Dog walks, family stuff, sharing
A popsicle after dinner
Coconut for her, lemon for me
Moments in a marriage
Affection, gentle touch, sharing
Respect, dignity, love

Capella Auriga
A quest is never done until you reach the end
That is
The questions may not get answered in this world
And thus, we must formulate and theorize my friends
Whatever waits for us on the other side of the universe
So we compose and create to the best of our abilities
Trying to solve the big mystery that mystifies us all
Letting our imaginations run rampant, wild and free
To the point that it consumes and exhumes our soul
But once fate has decided that our number is up
The veil of innocence lifts and things begin to make sense
It...

We All Have Something We Can’t Get Out
the poem unwritten
sticks in your throat
choking you on the unresolved
because they weren’t there
or they were but they never sat write on the page just double entendres filled with classical lies
that taste like bullshit you’d spoon feed
to ass-kissers and cynics
sprinkled with cliches
that fall from your mind as easy
as “sun dappled dew drops”
to clunk lifeless and forlorn
on A4
reeking of posterity and lingering tobacco
smoke on yellow stained fingers

A story of Mom and me (and you)
Just a girl in the 40s with expansive thoughts,
wearing pigtails and coke-bottle glasses --
they knew she was different; they even ran tests,
but found no diagnosis to label
a girl with a hunger and singular drive
to unpack the whole human condition.
She did it through books, for she wasn’t content
to just live her one given life.
In search of connection, the characters there
were as real as the ones in the flesh.
And though she did marriage, and children, and jobs,
it was story that held her attention.
She studied...
