dear lord
in the eternal ether, the darkness grows
greedy in its intent, it presses in on me
it hurts, it reasons evolution of the fittest
time is infinite
pain is a key ingredient to soul growth
the testing of patience brings to fruition clarity
pain in e minor
delicate notes flow through me
hurt turns within
uncertainty fucks with me
I don't what the future holds
am I resilient enough to stand come what may?
my patience is lacking
my anger unchecked
repressed and masked
so volatile with the least shake ...

Hourglass
When negativity senses
vibrations of sand
escaping the hour glass--
it hastens advancement;
Granules become barbs
malformed reminders
puncturing the calender
of its personal agenda;
their swollen restiveness
a relentless testament
of deflated attempts
Artists tumble ahead
despite resistance
Because. . .
Wisdom survives history:
suffering maltreatment
forgoing vengeance
patiently awaiting
that final grain
to drop thru
the pass
delivering Us
from...

Jailhouse Rock
English courts are stars and garters
As American courts give fines
Mostly to trailer park martyrs
When an indiscretion inclines.
So why are the English better
In matters of jurisprudence
Like timely use of a fetter
Or, implementation of fence?
I suspect old puritan stock
And all their angry descendants
Perversely crave to punish a flock
Of low rent codependents.
But now that the internet's here
They can worship something gracious
Such as a midnight sonneteer
And his elegance capacious,
Which recommends more...

AS THE TIDES TURN
As the tides turn into a new world order for yesterday I was healthy and strong, yet that has changed as my body has been attack by different stages of cancer. For now I no longer will have to just work through the process of learning the new, but how much I can improve on the quality of my own life itself as I am going through these trying times. For example as I continue to work with my cancer treatments, as there has been a few ups and downs I have my good days and my bad days. Yet I refuse to lost hope that one day I will get better for my life, for there is no cure for stage 4 cancer...

By My Side
It was in those days of youth
When my emotions had held me loyal and true
And though a mountain range of obstacles lay ahead
I just knew that patience would eventually pay off
I waited and waited for her
But the choices we made carved a different path
And we went our separate and distant ways
Far apart and yet still closer to the heart
And it was after a decade
That upon seeing her face again I knew it was real
That ember never died inside of me
Remembering the emotion with all its intensity
Our time had finally...
When my emotions had held me loyal and true

Word Of Mouth
I learned early;
If you can't read the writing on the wall,
it's because you're standing
too close to the wall.
Staying back, there's knowledge in distance.
Because intimacy brings a different awareness,
when my words have my mouth to hamper
any given wisdom.
So it's best to be quiet, while eyes collide
within or without, understanding.
It's easy to speak when I'm cold.
I can sit with all who shiver,
as my stutter blends with theirs,
blaming the current predicament.
Language is an evolution ...

I am on hold
with music that is
intended to calm me
I will stay bold
for I am not calmed
I remain (politely) enraged
I’ll not be subdued
though two chats aborted
I have been persistent
No need to be rude
this is a new person
so let us start fresh
I need not plead
for my case is strong
and you will not thwart me
I plan to succeed
not pay one more penny
for your fake “free trial”
with music that is
