Is it Me
Is it Me
Is it me for a moment
Every line I read feels computer
I read again and it’s alien to me
Go back to ink and paper in you
Binary not binary in mind
Is it you for a moment you forgot
Don’t forget dreams in nightmares
Love in the moment before you know
Love is dispatched you are going
To live in this moment until you die
Moments in you till you sing you’re dying song
Is it me for a moment
Every line I read feels computer
I read again and it’s alien to me
Go back to ink and paper in you
Binary not binary in mind
Is it you for a moment you forgot
Don’t forget dreams in nightmares
Love in the moment before you know
Love is dispatched you are going
To live in this moment until you die
Moments in you till you sing you’re dying song

In the Dead of the Night
Intro:
In the dead of night, the cradle rocks.
Echoes in the shadows, ticking clocks.
Tiny hands reach out for air.
Chaos reigns, curly hair everywhere.
Rhyme 1:
Under the moonlight, whispers grow,
silent secrets only shadows know.
From the cradle to the rocking chair,
curly hair is everywhere.
Chorus:
Rock the cradle, feel the storm,
in the darkness love takes form.
Curly hair, wild and free,
a symbol of our destiny.
Rhyme 2:
Midnight cries break the silence....
In the dead of night, the cradle rocks.
Echoes in the shadows, ticking clocks.
Tiny hands reach out for air.
Chaos reigns, curly hair everywhere.
Rhyme 1:
Under the moonlight, whispers grow,
silent secrets only shadows know.
From the cradle to the rocking chair,
curly hair is everywhere.
Chorus:
Rock the cradle, feel the storm,
in the darkness love takes form.
Curly hair, wild and free,
a symbol of our destiny.
Rhyme 2:
Midnight cries break the silence....

Slow Jams
What happened to Jimmy Hendrix?
What happened to Genuine?
What happened to back in the day where love songs played like "Bump and Grind"?
What happened to 112 "Let's get married" or "Let's get up on a room"?
What happen to the real slow jams that made me want to make love to you.
What happened to Maxwell, Escape, 702?
What happened to Color Me Bad, Mint Condition or "Knockin Da Boots"?
Give me some Soul For Real or All For One.
Take me back when laying you down in bed was just for fun.
Bring me...

the blind man and the musician
if i could
find
my eyes,
i would
cry for
the musician,
his music
is more
lovelier
than i
deserve
to hear,
forbid
when he
may fall ill,
and can
no longer
play,
for to
not hear
his music,
take my
ears
as well,
i will
need them
no longer.

Metronome
You are my metronome
I’m a beat off and i swim in my head
Your steady rhythm puts me back into
Real that I should pay attention to
You are the dorsal fin you keep me straight
I’m into my own beat just a beat off
Living in my truths that I lie to me
I come back to you you set the rhythm
The rhythm between me and you and then some
Metronome ticks within me now
You set the rhythm I lay it down
Rhythm and rhyme and why r h y
You take me back into myself ...

The Man With The Bass Guitar
Hello there,
Perfect Mr. Stranger
Don't mean to sound corny
But was that you walking in my dreams
Playing on my mind
With tight strings
Deep cords
Sweet symphony
Your aura exudes vitality
You're everything I want in me
Read that again
You are everything
I want in me
The moment we locked eyes
I felt something,
Something smooth
Like the rhythm to my favorite song
Emencely satisfying
Hearing you create those vibrations
With the tip of your fingers
And the biting of your lips ...

First Take
There is something about the first take
It’s raw and there are many mistakes
But it captures the real feelings
You can go back and try to recreate
But there is a soul missing
Go back again money is ticking
We’re booked for 10pm no one shows up but the engineer
What can he do without us, punch his phone as the money rings
Three hours later the bassist shows up, proceeds to throw up his guts
Where’s the drummer and guitarist to turn this house into madness
As the tension grows...

Mermaid Self Spells
Morgana and Medusa are two teenage mermaids,
with their beautiful fluffy hair and shiny scales,
venturing into the vast, icy world of Antarctica.
They love taking selfies everywhere they visit;
whether on the edge of a very high iceberg,
in a pile of snow newly formed by the storm
or in front of a colony of curious penguins.
With their small waterproof devices,
they capture every moment of adventures.
Morgana, with her irreverent way,
loves to pose enchanted,
while Medusa, more introspective,
prefers to capture the natural...

10000 Minutes
10000 minutes feel like hours but
My fingers are bleeding
My shoulder is hurting
This is what you have to suffer
To be like one of them
Every chance if I sit down I pick it up
Calluses forming on my finger
Putting in the time I’m feeling it
Even if it hurts my body
I lean on it trying to be a poet
I strum the stupidest shit you could imagine
But I’m in the game and I can’t complain
In the shortest minute I think I found it
All the sudden you sound almost good
But you are not...
My fingers are bleeding
My shoulder is hurting
This is what you have to suffer
To be like one of them
Every chance if I sit down I pick it up
Calluses forming on my finger
Putting in the time I’m feeling it
Even if it hurts my body

King Crimson- In The Wake Of Poseidon
During the US tour in late 1969, King Crimson imploded. Ian McDonald and Michael Giles had too much too soon and would depart to record an eponymous record. Similarly, Greg Lake had met up with Keith Emerson (formerly of The Nice) while on tour and agreed to form a band upon their return to the UK. (Emerson, Lake & Palmer) Robert Fripp & Peter Sinfield were left with the reigns of the band and faced the task of recording the follow-up. (though both Lake & Giles did make contributions to the album with the latter's brother Peter adding bass). In March of 1970 Robert Fripp was asked...

King Crimson- In The Court Of The Crimson King
King Crimson were an English based Progressive Rock band that formed in London in 1968.
The roots of King Crimson start pre-1969 with the light-weight, pop efforts of Giles, Giles & Fripp. After failing to get any gigs what so ever and receiving a dismal response from anyone who heard them, Pete Giles left. Around the end of 1968 Pete's brother Mike and Robert Fripp conceived King Crimson and added Ian McDonald on reeds, Greg Lake on bass and vocals and lyricist Peter Sinfield, who was McDonald's songwriting partner became the bands fifth member. King Crimson was born.
