indie folk pop
It's a lullaby
it's a cool summer night breeze
I didn't know I needed
until it skittered across my skin
I'm falling asleep
drinking red bull
feeling like I'm dreaming
in a midnight sky
full of pillow clouds
and a moon full of comfort
The music is a caress
a hand on the back of my neck
telling me everything
is going to be alright
and in this moment
I believe it
it's a cool summer night breeze
I didn't know I needed
until it skittered across my skin
I'm falling asleep
drinking red bull
feeling like I'm dreaming
in a midnight sky
full of pillow clouds
and a moon full of comfort
The music is a caress
a hand on the back of my neck
telling me everything
is going to be alright
and in this moment
I believe it

Gino loved his music. He would make it on his laptop, he would record his vocals into it, and make sure that it's all back up.
Sitting in his room, making tunes on his ones, his Spaniard friend knocks on the door because she's shaking for a bong.
Gina was her name. She would buy weed from Gino every day before she started her shifts at work and became a slave.
Gino asks Gina if she would lay some Spanish down on a song that he'd been working on. What could go possibly wrong?
He calls his friend Rev over, who is a wizz on the guitar, with ginger...

Too Pretty
Ain’t going nowhere
I’m too pretty
Even though skin getting saggy
Firm in my veins
Muscles not so supple
But still able to deliver
Mind firing lyrics
Legs stand one to one
Weight on the rack
I still can put it down
Never creeping even in dark recesses
Wouldn’t think to end this experience
On a ledge looking down
I step back cause I cant curse them
Float like a butterfly
Scream like a Banshee
Life is a surprise
Meant to be opened on Christmas Day

6 Minutes( to get you to pay for my sins)
6 minutes to get you to pay for my sins
Just gave you six minutes of my soul
Hold your cell phone out scream that is not enough
How do I appease while keeping sanity
Drumbeat social demeaning
Follows me when I’m not looking
I nail myself to my sins
I show you so you can say that’s not me
Millions aren’t enough to sell my soul
But I play along just to cash in
Just sold my soul I’m the mirror I look at me
You pay for my sins I give you release in me
In the details...

Backstage (Black Sabbath)
Welcome Backstage, I’m Damian DeadLove. Tonights band has a very interesting story on writing a song that far exceeded expectations of what it’s initial purpose was. I’m talking about Britain’s own, Black Sabbath.
Often credited as one of the forefathers of Heavy Metal along with Led Zeppelin. They’ve inspired many a metal band. The group formed in 1968, once going by the name, Earth. I think they made the right choice changing the name.
The original lineup consisted of: Ozzy Osbourne - Vocals, Tony Iommi - Guitar, Geezer Butler - Bass, and Bill Ward...

...down Time
I could see every note
Every rudiment down to the last beat
Sticks bouncing smoothly on the snare
As I marked time with my feet
I remember bullets whizzing by
Amid vociferous explosions and screams
A deafening quiet for a second
When soldiers saw me running in the street
I still recall the loud thunder
When lightning hit that tree behind our home
Me, sprinting fast and scared
Feeling a chill down to my bones
But now when I run, I hear my breath
With a steady rhythm in my mind
Every pulse perfectly played ...

Warm Leatherette
Life always seemed so endless
when we were listening to the Bee Gees
or Donna Summer...
Even ABBA has always made us feel
like dancing and acting carelessly.
They convinced us that we were immortals.
So we kept on going through the years.
No preoccupation, no worries or fears.
Cheering Cher and Turning Tina.
We were so passionate, so absolutely in love,
we believed that the groove was in the heart.
We used to jump onto the dancefloor
but not into precipitate conclusions.

Around the Corner
Inspiration is around the corner
Before you know it’s upon you
Lifts your spirit up and
Digs into your creativity
Could be an old song you heard on the radio
A line that resonates within you
So you create something new from something old
You can find your spirit in the weirdest places
Could come onto you at the supermarket
Creative spirits live in us
Between your ears or in your heart
You can find something anywhere anytime anyhow
Perk your ears up to the life that swirls around you ...

Brutally Honest
Brutally honest
Brutally honest
Blue eyes and blond hair
Sits and listens
To Dad butcher some great songs
Sitting on a panel of one
Judge and jury
Verdict in
Sentence Down
Doesn’t worry about feelings
Says daddy this really sucks
Maybe Breakers can be a song
A tennis ball
In a fire pit of my soul
Playing some bad guitar
Or fractured fairy tales
Being 16 in a 60 year old body
Isn’t easy on my bones
Chasing youth in the solar light
Losing a pickle...
