Jade
A most precious stone
sturdy yet soft
allowing dreams aloft
to forever be etched
within its green face
keeps this verdant place
eternal...
safe for the poem
or poets who still roam
lost yet searching
in the prosaic wilderness
sturdy yet soft
allowing dreams aloft
to forever be etched
within its green face
keeps this verdant place
eternal...
safe for the poem
or poets who still roam
lost yet searching
in the prosaic wilderness

Shooting Star
An Ode to Jade Pandora
A rarity in the dark sky
making me ask why
truly beautiful souls
never linger for very long
This most lovely song
plays for just a while
so we remember her smile
after the melody has ended
After tears have blended
along with our deep sighs
from too many goodbyes
while we still tally them up
Filling life and its cup
right to the very brim
with all this sink or swim
or put it off till tomorrow
Just to avoid the sorrow
of another...

Love Me Always
I
I told you not to,
Told you dont you ever leave me alone,
Still you didnt listen and made me go through,
This shadow of you that hunt me day and night,
As i see you in everything that i do,
You were my friend, my lover, my best nemesis, as we battled across and make out after a rough fight,
I know,
i know what you would say to me,
You would look at me with those puppy big eyes and that smile that bright up the room,
You would get closer and hold my face in your hands, and tell me,
"Its ok,
to miss me" ...
I told you not to,
Told you dont you ever leave me alone,
Still you didnt listen and made me go through,
This shadow of you that hunt me day and night,
As i see you in everything that i do,

Death of a Poet
No life insurance to peddle
around here
just collecting each tear
in a drab copper kettle
Saving them this way
for a sunny day
just to help me recall
pain and its reveling
With all of this leveling
of a prosaic playing field
guided by the silent whisper
of some poetic muse
Lighting the creative fuse
before dipping the quill
committing the will ...
around here
just collecting each tear
in a drab copper kettle
Saving them this way
for a sunny day
just to help me recall
pain and its reveling
With all of this leveling
of a prosaic playing field
guided by the silent whisper
of some poetic muse
Lighting the creative fuse
before dipping the quill

Memories
It was almost buried in the sand.
I remember the sunny sky and his hand.
It feels like I took so many things for granted.
All the memories I had above.
I was a kid and had almost all I wanted.
And yearned for the things I never had.
Like he smell of sand in the air.
And my long,dark brown hair.
I remember just having fun.
No stress, and no need to run.
But sometimes, you don't miss something until you lose it.
If only I could be a kid once again.
I would feel better than a changed man.
I remember the way we...

Jay North
A great actor has died and is gone for eternity.
Jay North has died at the age of seventy-three.
He got up to mischief when he starred in Dennis The Menace.
We all have a little mischief in us.
He began starring in "Dennis The Menace" at the age of seven.
After living for over seven decades, he died and went to Heaven.
North starred as Dennis from 1959 to 1963.
It's sad to know that he's gone for eternity.
