Least Read Heroic Poems

Could never seem to fly
with or without a plane
preferring to just ride on a train  
and as for the bullets ...  
  
No it seems to me  
I have the power to be free  
to pause the world  
study it as its unfurled  
   
Peeling back the layers  
pulling masques from players  
feeling what they feel  
feeling what they conceal  
   
Then putting pencil to pad  
the happy, the angry, the sad  
soothed with some rhyme  
always healing over time
