With a hollow breath in a heavy world
Her faith is a fallen leaf in an early morning light
Love caught in a whirlwind
With a plead to never say goodbye
She cries
Please visit me
Please visit me
If you don't mind
Please comfort me
Look in on me
From time to time
I'll even meet you halfway
If you can't fly this far
For just one day
We'll rest this tired heart
Past the highest clouds
And the furthest star
Between heaven and our house

Silent Night Divinely
Explosive ciphers of glimmers,
Amid skylines,
Scaled letters of waves,
Tuned breezy curtains,
Whispers of silent nights,
Phantom love making,
Glance of seahorse,
Shimmers of fairy tales,
Debauched visions,
Needy survival’s stroke,
Illusive schemed of confidence
and a blizzard bliss,
Serene tears of happy trails,
Sleepless moon garnished,
Touch of fire….
Exquisite
Resistance,
Cherished Moans..
Persuasive,
Delightful,
Inclusiveness
Amid skylines,
Scaled letters of waves,

His hand is on the latch
as I latch onto his mirage. I think
picket fences and Tom appears
or Huck. White-washed. No water
passes through these slabs. He says,
open or doom. Says, room or perish.
I would have circled the picket in zen.
Or stopped as an O,
away, taking in. My friend, auditioner
for Avenue Q, has no clear idea
of the profanity of rules. Move along
she muppets, the voices of New Yorkers
pushing through. The sign lofts high, as his eyes audit,
ender of worlds, ender of traffic
footing what was once a street...

Celebrating You
Today is your special day
And even though you are a heaven away
We carry the cherished memory of you
Remembering 65 years ago today
You were born into the world
To bless our lives and touch our hearts.
You were heaven sent, a borrowed gift to us.
You were in the Earth but not of this world
You played the role of mom & friend
But Lord knows you were His angel
Sent with a mission to show us the perfect unity
That exists in heaven
Among the angels and saints
.
You were the glue that bound us together
Now you are gone,...
