Dew Dream
I twiddle thumbs
watching dew dry on the grass
so little time
and so much to do
It's best not to count
the days I have left
when I spend them
thinking of you
But if heaven's more than a notion
I'm sorry you won't find me there
Maybe the hardest pill to swallow
is knowing I'm headed elsewhere

Our Corner Of Heaven
You are such a perfect muse
No other I’d rather use
For the fodder than makes me better
Or the midnight love we share together
All the odd rhythms that synch our wishes
The reality that rips our stitches
A silence that stretches out between us
Breaking the cloud of all consuming lust
A playback reel, a corrosive stain left like rust
Internal screams meant to break some
The sirens from which we run
I will never refuse you my sweet
Or the tainted nectar we share in dreams
Some corner of heaven where we hope to meet ...
No other I’d rather use

Revisiting
The aged surround
Mourning the reminder
Sinking lower
Feeling her presence
The love
That linked us together
Yet the hungry earth
Dissolves the resolve
In all of us
Nine was young for this
And here I sit
With the same pit
Now silent
Empty
As before
There is no presence here
Just memory
Who were they kidding
Her grave now weathered
Uncle leaning upon the same tree
Watching
Intently
As he did long ago
'You look as lost as you did
When you were a kid'...

The Ocean Becomes The Sky
When the ocean became the sky
I was there,
When I looked out from the Narrows Bridge,
It was quite black,
I fathomed,
How in the nautical length
Could I reach the arch of heaven?
I wondered if anyone down there
Could measure
Our understanding of a sounding line
Heavens length equal to six feet of water,
A difficult problem,
Would anyone care
If I laid in the air?
When the ocean became the sky
I was there,
limitless, I hope I can stay
Way up here while
You’re stuck 467 feet...
I was there,

Go To Hell
The expression “go to hell” does not suggest a literal action.
As far as the writer is concerned, no one can literally send a person to hell.
Besides, there is no tangible evidence of a literal heaven or hell.
The idea of a hell is just a belief that some religious groups hold.
So no one knows whether heaven and hell really exist or not.
Sensible people do not take offence at it when you tell them to go to hell.
You can tell politicians to go to hell and they do not have a problem with that.
So why do LGBT people protest when someone tells them...

With a hollow breath in a heavy world
Her faith is a fallen leaf in an early morning light

the Everlastingness of the Alpha and Omega
no back-end to Alpha reign
no Omega close
can time interpose
for, in Him, to die is gain
borderless the ages past
before there was time
or season or clime
cosmos shall all worlds outlast
in His everlastingness

the heavens
the Dwelling Place of God
all the heavens where He dwells
declare to the sod
the glory of God
thus my tongue His grandeur tells
it is by His Sovereign Will
the planets are fixed
with nothing betwixt
save His Hand to hold them still
over everything He reigns
no error can stand
against His Command
how He yearns to make us saints!
God of mercy, peace, and love
Your wrath You restrain
to woo us again

Anarchy hell's rebellion doing time in heaven
scarred so sounds so much like scared or is it sacred secrets?
I burn with them so much it shows
nothing to do but go down in flames
see me, feel me you want to know me I'll share the pain
here you go feel that oppression...blam
carry that for a few eons that heavy dark
beat down for cowering in the Man's presence
beat down and not backed up when I made my stand
you mother fuckers fled the scene
left me doing time one on one with HIs darkness
damned if I do
damned it don't
so here we go pull up seats I'm about to...
