In crimson folds where Seraphim weep
And ancient thrones in silence keep
A sanguine Paradise concealed
By shadowed rites and fates revealed
A garden forged in martyr’s tears
Where saints and sinners quell their fears
Here, holy hymns in whispers sound
To trace the lost, the star-cursed ground
The lilies burn like censers bright
Veiled echoes of celestial light
Yet blood and incense thickly rise

Mysteries of The Ascension
High in the heavens, past earth's dim sight
Where clouds and stars embrace the light
The Lord arose, in holy guise
Beyond the reach of mortal eyes
What mystery binds His upward way
As angels sing and watch and pray?
What secrets lie in heaven’s span
Unknown to dust-bound heart of man?
The stones bear witness, cold and clear
To steps that vanish from us here

Where saints did sing
And angels sighed
Now shadows cling
Where light has died
Once, walls of gold
And domes of flame
Held prayers untold
In Heaven’s name
But silent now
These arches weep
In solemn vow
In hollowed sleep
The Theotokos
In sorrow’s grace
Her gaze bestows
Upon this place
O voices lost
Return once more
Bring back the cost

Valley of the Gods
Valley of the Gods
The fog forms a halo
Around majesty in rock form
Can’t pass through have to go around
Thorny path uneven and unnerving
Deep in blue canyon a waterfall
Narrow beauty moss on the walls
Mist dips down and rolls over
Rain falls pitter patter
Rising sun orange blaze
Go with the torrent ride the surge
Walk down the waterfall
Descend down time
A split in Mother Earth
Sliver of water so deep
Look up and see a small slice of heaven

Tear in Heaven
Something about dropping a tear into heaven
Galaxy away see a small hole
Floating and spinning
On the horizon
Stand like skywalker
Smaller than a pebble
Drops down from above
Must be from heaven
Set my eye see a smile in the crowd

Fight through the starts

St Valentine’s Day Massacre
Better hope you’re somewhere else but here
40 feet wide if you’re inside you’re dead in an instant
But saints and devils are in our everyday it comes to
Who you choose whose side you’re on can’t sit on a fence
If you do you give up your soul your inner being
You’ll rot in hell in a jail cell if you’re lucky but luck looks away
So you’ll die the same way you paid for slice your carotid artery
Or a bullet in the back of the head dick and balls in your throat

Foolish Pride
Racing against this thing called time
When I was young thought I had forever
Taking everyday life with a grain of salt
Risking it all for the sake of being clever
Once the moment passes it’s likely gone
Precious memories forgotten and lost
Waking up underneath this blistered dawn
Death covers me within the morning frost
Don’t wanna say goodbye to those I love
Tame this sorrow that flows deep inside
She holds my hand while speaking softly
Washing away sin nestled in foolish pride

And shadows fall where light once played
A sound, so low, so dark, is heard
Not hymn nor chant, nor kindly word
