Mother
Mother,
I feel,
like
an
earthquake
got buried
in
your
womb.
Smothering,
positivity
and
the love I miss,
crumbling tomb......
I forgot
how to love,
I forgot
how to feel,
I have
one emotion
and is
negativity
I'm a
narcissist,
I even
hurt a kid
who hurt
me
with her words.
She was only
a puppy at 12
I feel bad
and I feel mad
but its not enough
to assume.....
that I can change,
walk past ...
I feel,
like
an

I am heart broken
That I have lost you
So fast
I can't stop crying
Yes I could never believe
That you had to part so soon
But deep down
I could not stand to see you
Suffer every day
Battling you disease
I tried to make you
Comfortable
Also I had to be strong for you

Through the Debris
I masked the hurt with anger and looked for revenge in the most spiteful way,
Not knowing that from that day forward everything would completely change,
And in some strange way I didn’t grasp the damage it would do to all of us,
You grew angrier and I somehow found my strength buried under all the rubble.
But first I had to dig through all the debris, the guilt, the everlasting shame,
Taking all the blame because it didn’t really matter who set it off at first,

Blue
I look in the mirror and see my eyes
The realization hits like a train
and twists like a knife
My eyes are dull
Grey
Cloudy
And sad
The color faded with the hope that I had
When I let myself love you
My eyes were blue
Clear
Not like a stormy sea
They were like still water
But the the color faded as I started to believe
You never actually loved me
It isn't even about your love for me
It's about my love for you

Like a tsunami, an origami of emotions
tears through my chest.
Crest crashing down on my heart,
creating a black hole.

Beneath the Surface
I feel it creeping,
something pulling at my skin,
like gravity that doesn’t let go,
but it’s soft, like water,
slow, sinking into my chest.
I’m not sure where the ground went—
maybe it was never there.
You’re still somewhere beneath the surface,
and I’m trying not to drown in the quiet.
I’m falling—
falling without a sound.
I’m breaking—
but I don’t know if I’ve hit the ground.
Is this what you wanted,
or was I already lost?
I’m descending—
slipping beneath everything I was.
I’m a ghost in...
