Impossibility
I have always felt that I were strong.
My heart would be able to dismiss
the warmth once found within your arms.
The deliciousness of your sweet kiss.
I have always felt I do not need this.
I could turn my heart to stone
and that I would always make it
living a life all alone.
But every time you somehow sneak in
and I am with you if in dreams
and being with you life is better
than the way my life now seems.
Still I want to go back where I was
and re-build my wall,
it does not stay,...

The Beginning of the End
A rave, expression of unity
people dancing under the stars
greeting the sunrise
songs on their lips, dancing feet
Hell flew down from the heavens
singing, screaming, silence
dancing, running, hiding
Slaughter a party
party a massacre
gala of inhuman torture
Lives balanced on single breaths
Souls captured, hidden away
Forever in tunnels to stay
Should the monsters had their way
Surely this was the edge of humanity
no, it was only beginning of insanity

Journey through Darkness
I wander through the woods
shadows dance just behind me
path once seen in darkness brood
my heart pounds in crippling fear
home maybe at the other end
warmth of my mother’s hearth
might be waiting to welcome
lonely journey fear stops heart
I hear anguished cries of fear
the whispers of darkness intensify
harsh breathing around my feet
above the branches menacingly creaks
A ghoulish glow from above the trees
the moon wans as a dying man

The forest breathes with a sinister sigh.
Branches grasp like hands from the sky.
Lost souls wander, forever to vie,
for fragments of truths in shadows that lie.
In hell's embrace where hopes slowly die.
Through the underbrush a path of pain,
tears of the damned fall like bitter rain,
visions of pasts that darkened remain.

Between These Lines
Let my tears fall between these lines
Because I feel too empty to let them fall down my face
Confidence I had to front cause I never had it
Writing is therapeutic so I used that to cope
I contemplate if happiness can save my soul
Trying to wiggle through this maze to find my worth as a man
My mind backpedaling to the demons I can’t seem to exercise
Middle of the night I wake up to my own cries
I keep running away from my insecurities but they keep catching up to me.

O Aphrodite, you callus and cruel god, I know now the madness of you,
I saw her face and thought her a radiant dawn,
I gave her my words, so simple and basic, nothing to me or her,
And she cared, to my jest she joked,
