Dragon Poems
#dragons
Dragon poems, mythical and fantasy poetry about dragons and their power and strength. European poems about giant fire-breathing dragons, and the dark chaos and evil these monsters bring. Also poems related to dragons in East Asian culture, where the dragon is a symbol of fertility, water and the heavens.

what do you mean they’re at risk
they’re two a penny

the castle is

I find

Happily Ever After
When I was little
I always used to dream of being rescued
by a knight upon a steed
Meeting my prince charming
and being swept off of my feet
by his touch that is so gentle
and his words that are so sweet
We would have a love that is unbreakable
Trust that is unshakable
I knew I would get my happily ever after
the moment we finally meet
When I got older
I started to believe
This world had only dragons
No knight would rescue me
Prince charming was lie
Just a story and that's all
There...

The Dragon's War
Come seek your blessing in the purified water
Don your armour for war is upon us
Embrace the true gift and wisdom of the Father
For we’re off to battle against the absence of love.
An eternal conflict that’ll end in victory
For the holy forces of divinity
And we shall liberate his chosen children
By granting them the true vision.
The fallen ones will curse and cry
A symphony of yelps, howls and roars
They’re damned to hell though they wish to fly
We fight the dragon’s war.

at least they tried
the age of reason ended
a while back
in the eighteenth century they thought
and reasoned about logic and ideas
based on facts
were important, but
it feels like they’re
not anymore

that is simply how it is
the elephant left the room
because nobody mentioned him.
but that’s just polite society,
jumbo! the minute you left the
room I can assure you that nobody in the room
spoke of anything else ..

Her Magic Dragon
It had a special golden glow by the way the shadows made no effect on this egg. The elf queen had never seen such a large nest before. Dragons were rare and rarely had nests out in the grassy open plains like this.
Tia had no idea what creature was inside this giant scaly egg. It was sparkly and had a slight pale blue mist around it. She could feel the magnetic field pulsing and drawing her to it as she touched the surface.
She waited, since upon seeing it noticed that it had a large crack as if about to split open anytime.
What seemed an eternity suddenly...

The Dragon
I hid behind a rock
As i heard the dragon
Return to her cave
I could hear her breathing
As plumes of dark smoke
Rose from her jaws
The throbbing furnace within
Ready,at any point, to erupt
I could hear
Her heavily taloned feet
Crunch through gold, like shingle
I peeked around the rock
As i watched the dragon
Approach her throne
As she then sat down, and rested
I didn't dare move
Or even breathe
Lest i accidentilly
Jingled the gold around my toes
I was also aware, of another dilemma
As i was...

Your Poet
Why do you like to drive your poet crazy?
Because it's yours and no one else's?
Because he rhymes with you and no one else!
Because his ice serves you in the summer, isn't it?
Because out of everything you have left
he is the golden sword of the non-existent hero
who walks naked and beautiful in your sweaty dreams?
Because he, only him, no one but him has your skin
so tattooed with the names of organs in your body
and red lines in the shape of hearts and dragons...

Dragon's Presence
You were walking home.
After a long,tiring day.
You wanted to go home.
And put your stuff away.
But you stumble upon a gate.
Made of shiny,stunning gold.
On it was written your fate.
And maybe today's date.
On this long,sunny day.
You walked into the gates astray.
What you saw shocked you to the core.
A land of dragons, castles and more.
Each different scales.
The dragons consisted of males and females.
Each arranged with a different color.
And they all had a different power.

Camelot & Avalon
Avalon misty rising, enchantment in the air,
Moments suspended in the rhythm of the earth,
Ancient stoic's words etched upon weathered stone,
Legends of valor and mythical dragons,
Unfolding beyond the dark, enchanted veil.
Drifting upon currents of forgotten time,
A spell cast, freezing moments in eternal embrace,
Camelot, built upon ruins of ancient stone circles,
A kingdom adorned with tranquil beauty,
Home to unicorns and woodland nymphs.
Shy elves and humble souls, seekers of peace,
Under the watchful gaze of majestic...

(king oskar sardiner)
A Brisling (King Oscar sardines)
I opened a tin of sardines in olive oil for supper
Headless and nicely packed, except for one
that had a head and was alive.
I put the live one in a glass jar; the others looked
so dead I could not eat them, put the tin back
into the fridge
My little King Oscar sardine grew and was too
big for a jar, I had fed it bread crumbs,
real home
baked with butter.
Suddenly, there were many cats in the yard the adventurous cats
tried to find an open window
I took my sardine to an empty lake. ...
