Watching The Fire
Getting it started was so easy
with a will of its own
(the way of nature and things)
We brought the kindling
and thus, we had fire
Keeping it going was no problem
So energetic, we sweated
yet tirelessly fed its hunger
Feeding the flames its constant needs
Because of what it gave us;
Making love in the still of night
and watching the fire
in the reflection of our crystal eyes
~
For all of our toils
we now had a house
to protect our fire
from its very mother ...
with a will of its own
(the way of nature and things)
We brought the kindling
and thus, we had fire
Keeping it going was no problem
So energetic, we sweated
yet tirelessly fed its hunger
Feeding the flames its constant needs
Because of what it gave us;
Making love in the still of night
and watching the fire
in the reflection of our crystal eyes
~
For all of our toils
we now had a house
to protect our fire
from its very mother ...

Existential Crisis
What happens
With these piles of paper
Once I meet
The Grim Reaper?
With these piles of paper
Once I meet
The Grim Reaper?

Oceans I wept
At what depth must these oceans I wept
reach, for the sorrows—in which
I drowned—to subside?

No Title.
That little girl's rotting corpse,
Still moans in my bones,
And no amount of makeup,
Could make her pretty again.
Still moans in my bones,
And no amount of makeup,
Could make her pretty again.

I'm.
Just.
Waiting.
To die.
And everyone.
Wants me.
To.
Live.
I rather.
Like.
Innocuously.
Day.
dreaming.

To die.
And everyone.
Wants me.
To.
Live.
I rather.

I.
Get.
The feeling.
Everything.
Was pointless.
Anyway.
You and.
I.
Were.
Temporary.
Fantasies.

Anyway.
You and.
I.
Were.
Temporary.
Fantasies.

Explorations
Too small to explore
the sea of the unknown:
island existence
breathing hell of darkness
dreading hungry excursions

Life’s Cord
Held onto the umbilical cord,
Crawling out from my mother’s womb,
Only to truckle,
Crawling into the womb of your will,
Strangled by life’s cord.
Crawling out from my mother’s womb,
Only to truckle,
Crawling into the womb of your will,
Strangled by life’s cord.

No Window
Young and confined
Bound within walls
No window
To breathe freedom
To take a glimpse
Of rainbows and butterflies
Beyond my bastille
Bound within walls

To breathe freedom
To take a glimpse
Of rainbows and butterflies
Beyond my bastille

The Wind's Exhale
The wind's exhale
Blew the trees' dead leaves flying
I hoped for mine to swirl away
Fading into thin air

A Bright Future Lies Ahead
Mother & father
raising their son & daughter
growing them up just like you
their future floats dead in the water

I Can’t Breathe
Gasping for air
No longer brings in oxygen
But water
Flooding
I feel all too much
No longer brings in oxygen
But water
Flooding
I feel all too much
