Travel to Algarve
Eight boxes in a row in the middle of a grimy room, boxes looking
like each other. What’s in the boxes? The stale air of a perfumed boudoir?
Or the sweet breeze of a passing butterfly?
Wrapped boxes, one of them could be full of shit. If so, I hoped
it would be horse manure, I can’t think of a sweeter aroma
no addresses, though, not going anywhere soon.
A man dressed in a grey storeroom coat came in and carried the boxes,
one at a time (to fill time to five o’clock) to a corner, one on top of the other

Club nocturnal
In Bilbao, on a warm evening, he walked past a nightclub
walked in and had a beer; he could have gone to
a Guggenheim Museum and be culturally minded, absorb
and mention it later in a passing conversation, “the other
day at the Guggenheim.”
At the club, a group of people sat drinking affluent bubbly
wine, thinking it was champagne, the group laughed a lot
and apparently had a fine time, although, he thought they
were a bit frenzied about the fun

A view of the ocean of print
On the night sky over Australia, among thousands of stars
the dog of hell appeared, killing the Aboriginal men
but a woman of the tribe slaughtered the dog, the men
were spared, as the legend says.
A beautiful story if not told right, but the dream is true.

Dream dancing
Dream dancing
Come sit on my lap, let me take you for a wheelchair dance, I know it's a strange request but I thought I'd take the chance
Wrap your arms around me so you don't fall on to the ground, I'll do my best to take my time as I spin the wheelchair round
Moving to the slow music, I promise it will be real fun, I'll glide you around the dance floor, until we greet the morning Sun
Feeling you so very close to me, would fulfil a poets wish, dancing with a Goddess, would truly be such bliss
Moving to the speed of the music, sometimes...

New York, New York. A city that doesn't sleep.
Cruise through the Burroughs in my 18 jeep.
Emilias fine place to eat pork osso buco.
Meal was amazing three hundred tip out the door.
Roaming the city.
Enjoy the gritty.
No glam to hide it from light.
The beauty of ol New York at night.
Another morning come and gone.
Time for an old soul rambler to ramble on.

Funk feeds my soul
it is the fuel
that makes me whole
like no other tune can,
for it has a certain

with all that thang
