to be a somebody
To be a somebody
When we were young, we lived a café life
and often spoke about writing a novel, but
mostly we endlessly spoke about other
writers, those how were heavy drinkers
we tried to emulate.
Naturally, no one understood our pain
of being talented
Alfred, my friend and fellow drinker, went
to Paris to write, he got the clap
came home and wore a French beret and
A Raincoat got a poem published in the local
paper, forever referred to as a Frenchy
His work, as an artist, was done, he rested
on his laurel,...

a child's war
A child's war
suddenly, there was a war
people drew the curtains called " blinds"
the boy had no idea what was going on
only there was a fear in the air
the next thing he knew, he sat in a basement
as fingers of light clawed the night
A long bus ride out of town, his mother
was not with him, he didn't ask why.
A big farmhouse near a German camp
The soldiers loved him and let him sit on
their big horses
Then it was all over, not knowing why
back with his mother, who was busy walking
in a factory, most of the...

hurricane
The Hurricane and Florida
The green valley near the blue lake
It sounds like a color combination by a happy incident
it was the weather of the day that made nature
impossible romantic
near the lake where Pink Salmond swam and
silver trout vake, in a cave, the Huldra lived
She was beautiful, but not by a human standard
her pussy hair was so long it covered her body
like a hairy curly suit
Could she sing, not half?
snow on mountain tops melted, and bears woke up
from winter rest, blueberry blued in April
I sensed...

IN THIS MOMENT
It's me again the story teller of unspoken words ✍️. For real that in this moment of tranquility and space and time, a scenario slowly begins to unfold the deepness of my thoughts, as I reflect upon where I've been and gone. 😭 THAT will forever change my mind and heart, plus my spiritual soul of my SUBCONSCIOUSNESS. THOUGHTS of my brain and what I've learned from these two brain tumors, 🧠 that I have gone through some mental changes. Yet as I sit here and now, within this place I can truly say that I am truly grateful and...

Charles Bukowski
Charles Bukowski
Was originally an introvert
but realized that it was a condition
that hindered him
He became an aggressive extrovert
to be able to write
not to forget to be considered
a hell riser
in his wring we see he wanted
to introspective and often disappeared
for days to be alone with his
inner self, his alter ego if you like
His obvious hell riser drinking problem
was a testament of this torment
He reached his goal to be taken serious
as an author
in the end his burden killed him, long ...

we who loved America part 4
We, who loved America Part 4
When I came back to where I belonged
the country had changed; no one bought
arrow shirts anymore and jeans were
made in China
The streets of New York were violent
people demanding their rights should be
heard, the group they belong to, racial or
otherwise
To think he had believed that everyone
were Americans regardless of sex or creed
His America had been white, regardless
of color, the sexes were easy to define
Eva had a vagina, and Adam had a penis.

after a war and a mask
After the war
There had been a war that Germany lost
a soldier found a mask made of wood
in a basement and took it home as a souvenir
When demobilized, he sold the mask to
a second-hand shop, as no one knew it's
real value, he was only paid a few shillings
enough for a few pints at the local pub
The store owner put the mask on a shelf
where it lingered until an art collector saw
the mask and quickly bought it cheaply
the store owner was glad to be rid of the
mask as it, despite being face down on
a shelf, made him...

a ship and Germany
a ship and Germany
Unter den Linden, I have a soft spot for the German language
when a toddler, I had free access to a military camp where
they had enormous horses and let me sit on top of one of them
(looking up horses, I think they were Belgian draft horses)
Since I was 5 years old at the time
I reserve the right to be wrong
My mother said I could speak a little German
I don't think so
but when the Brits and the Americans came
my few words of German were too soon forgotten.
In the late fifties, I was onboard an old ship that had...

Tumor
The Tumor
Last night, I watched a podcast
the man with the highest measured IQ
and I was pleasantly surprised
He looked and acted like a sane bloke
his views were an echo in my mind
best of all, he was like me, working-class
but had read the classics
his laughter was infectious
two hours well spent
His idea of God was how I think of God
there is good and evil in the world by
those who do not believe in the law of
nature and think they can ignore what
is fundamentally true
I woke up early following the thoughts...

Melancolie
The August heat is hotter than other summer months
more lethal going in for the kill,
The olive trees gasp, bark crackles and leaves hang
lifeless, but the sun keeps on shining
I think of Norway. to be back to my hometown run
down to the park and remember the joy when
Stavanger became a modern town Cafe Alexander
where one could have a pint of beer without eating
a sandwich that has been the norm
The idea was to stop people from drinking alcohol
that was, in our narrow-minded society, a great sin

Democracy
The elected Democracy.
Is a democracy obsolete? we see it trampled on by Muslims demanding the Sharia law in our streets
Democracy in the Middle East bombs
the living daylight out of the Palestinians, this so their a democracy, can reign subprime and call all they steal, cry our right to defend ourselves
in the name of a democracy, that has become a cancerous ulcer oozing blood in Gaza
if you point out that bombs perched in the USA and
Germany has killed 43 thousand innocent people. they
point out October the 7th, and Hamas behaved in a way that is...
