9 yr old environmentalist
Tryin to control and spray the lantern flys
Doing her part with help from Tik tok
Made up a mix to get rid of them
Dish soap n apple vinegar
Sprayed on the trees and sidewalk
Now this is where the bigotry seeps in
Man calls 911 said some little black woman
Was causing a stir
Said he doesn’t know what hell she’s doing
Scares him though
Mom went to a council hearing
Said she doesn’t want to label
But she’s black and a mom
Wants to share point of view

Being Put In (The Ground)
Being put in (the ground)
Little mans ballin
As I keep my nose to the wheel
Know it’s in him
Can’t wait til his 1st game
I watch him in wonder
Learn as much from him
As I try to give
Learn as much from him
As I try to teach
Wonder of youth
Everyone wants it
But grow up…
And you can’t get it back
As hard as we try
Gettin old really sucks
Not the knowledge…it’s great
But when your body can’t
Respond
Wonder of youth
Everyone wants it
But we grow up ...

SPIRITUAL POWER OF A WOMAN
It's me again the story teller of words ✍️ I would like to take a moment of your time, to give my own utmost respect to all the women's of the world. 🌎 For sure if it wasn't for a strong 💪woman there wouldn't be a strong man. THAT is willing to stand and fight as a strong man. Building a strong relationship with a strong, foundation of steel and stones. 🪨 THAT together they shall always stand side by side. For sure I give them the upmost honor with respect, for if wasn't for a woman we as men could not even EXIST....

childish things
never liked swings
out of control
as he pulls it even further back from behind
me, a scared kid
on a seat
held by strings, I mean blimey ..

You are taller than I remember
We both grew up,
and I do not recognize you.
You do not recognize me
either.
I wonder if you
remember us
like I
do.
I see us,
at the kitchen table,
the clock ticking
a reminder of sleep.
We talked about
shared secrets,
favorite colors,
and how to be better.
It was a long time ago.
We were so small.
My room was green.
Yours was blue.
That table is gone now.
The house too.
Nothing made it out of there intact.
Not even us.
But I still...
and I do not recognize you.
You do not recognize me

I wonder if you

Dull Marble (Revised)
I found a little dull marble,
an unremarkable nothing,
Belonged to given reasons
It was once a something.
I kept it safe in back pocket
for someone's sweet locket.
Vibrations, slammed lockers
and a sweet girl of a looker.
Down in gown's fleecing
bee sting's that's piercing.
an unremarkable nothing,
Belonged to given reasons
It was once a something.
I kept it safe in back pocket
for someone's sweet locket.
Vibrations, slammed lockers
and a sweet girl of a looker.
Down in gown's fleecing

A sight I will never forget
A UPS truck ran into a telephone pole on the corner near my home
I was 10
Skinny freaked out, wild eyed and full of shit
The driver's head went through the windshield
Exploded on the telephone pole
Never occurred to me
The beauty of that scene
Blood, brains and all that milk
Everything ran down to the gutter
I ran down the hill observing the greying milk snake
My parents on the other hand were quite annoyed
The package they were expecting was destroyed!

It's a blessing to be loved
How often do you wish that you finally met someone, who has the same passion as you have to be able, and willing to share there life and love with you 💕 As with respect and honor and support, and understanding involving that realness of honesty truth and trust. 😉 But yet in these days and times, that's 😞 not seems it's gonna happen, due to the deepness of the heart. Along with the deepness of the pain, that has been broken like tiny pieces of broken shatter glass. Yet they have said that no one is sent to you, by chance or accident. 🤔 FOR it's with these kind...

Letter to Myself as a Child
Hello,
You are called by someone else’s name
But, still, you recognize your own reflection in the distance.
You know that you are there, somewhere, and you are worth
whole palaces made of stardust stalactites,
troves of pink gemstones that pulse
as fast as your little heart.
The shadows take the shape of mouths at night and
you are so brave, you find ways to shield yourself from them
using no magic.
You are so brave, you taught us how to be our own
nightlight in abject darkness.
You are my Joan of Arc, you are not afraid.
You...

Stuffing and Fabric
My childhood drags on the ground
behind me
like an old stuffed animal,
torm and dirty.
My little hand holds
tightly onto it,
scared of what happens
if I let go.
And yet it pains me,
to know that it is there,
to know that I keep something
well past its time.
So I do not look,
except for blurry glances,
because I need to know
that it's there.
behind me
like an old stuffed animal,
torm and dirty.
My little hand holds
tightly onto it,
scared of what happens
if I let go.
And yet it pains me,
to know that it is there,
to know that I keep something
well past its time.
So I do not look,
except for blurry glances,
because I need to know
that it's there.
