the gambler
The gambler
The night, on the other side of the bay, is a spinning roulette
garish, the entrance to the cave of the netherworld
guns and uniforms at the place of iniquity; remove your hat, sir!
The voice is menacing, a hand gripping a gun.
Eyes are dark pools transfixed, much to lose, one spin more
the self-loathing is a frozen grin, the light on the promenade
throws itself into the dark water simulating self-destruction
one more cast of the dice; luck will return
There is no winner in this obscene hunt for the unobtainable ...

Mosley Will Be Missed
On August 4, 2022, he was paralyzed from the shoulders down.
He had a car accident and he will be lowered into the ground.
For eight seasons, he starred in "Magnum P.I." as T.C.
In 1992, he starred as a policeman in "Unlawful Entry".
He guest-starred in "Kung Fu", "Stone" and "Kojak".
He starred in "Hit Man", "Big Time" and "The Mack".
He also starred in "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate".
This talented man died in 2022 and he was born in 1938.

All Together
telepathically synchronising
mind to mind as traffic flows
with unexpected and surprising
drivers everywhere - it shows
we are linked beyond just thinking
we're all flowing in a stream
instantly, in just a blink in
a place that's in between
separation of each ego -
who we think we are apart
disappears as driving we go
all together, stop and start
moving quickly on the highway
moving slowly on a road
mind to mind through eye to eye play
in super-conscious driving mode
telepathically...

Lost souls of dreams they have known

the medal
The Medal
I dislike bragging
Once I won a bronze medal
For running
Sixty meters
I wore the medal
Every day
Even when going to bed
Put it under my pillow
One day it wasn’t there
I think my brother
Took it.
It was found
Behind the bookshelf
Yes, we only had one
10 years later.
By then I had become blazę
Gold was the goal
I never got won anything
Since my day
Of copper coloured brilliance.

buying a car
Buying a car
I have read and published some of my old poems
what I write these days is more about the everyday
Gone has the mermaid in the forest´s lake.
Sheep endlessly grazing and calling their shepherd
at the first darkening of the sky.
The sheep have lived in peace so long and fear
shadows dancing among olive trees.
The animals graze inside a fenced-in field for security
And for this, they have forsaken freedom.
I´m nonchalant, my dog too takes on the mien of indifference.
She has gone, but I keep her bones in a black bag ...

One Sweet Ride
I remember the year of ’95
She was beautiful, and so right
We spent every day together
I knew it wouldn’t last forever
Those kind of things never last
But man oh man, did I have a blast
We spent the days out riding the town
Never thinking about winding down
The guys were jealous, my girlfriend too

Enjoying your virility for a roadside tease
As we flee, a moment in time just to be free

Giving you a taste from my premium oiled butter rum cup
Reverse, Neutral, and now driving back inside
Power stick shift for that ocean front drive
