Scarlet Butterflies
The sun shines blue
Over purple yellow skies
As jaded streams
Run far, and deep
As nature wears another disguise
For hidden amongst the black foxgloves
Over fields of lavendar orange
Fly scarlet butterflies
Soaring through the misty haze
Where exist my dreams
Where nothing quite seems
As it seems
That's the thing
About scarlet butterfly dreams

Death Of A Butterfly
Memories of pre-flight meanderings
Living on a diet of jade
The long siesta, whilst encapsulated
Lost in dreams
Whilst awaiting a rebirth
Transformation
An awakening
Into flight
Light linen like wings
Floating on the breezes
FREEDOM!
No longer land-locked
Now fully evolved
And at her finest, and most beautiful
Supping upon natures nectar
My existence, although brief
Is one of awe, and wonder
As i taste the magic
Of my essence
As my wings become wind blown dust
Dissipating into the ether

Me Cat. Com!
I know i'm in my sixties now
I'm not in denial of how
(Which means i am!)
Lies, lies, damn lies!!!
I'm actually twenty seven
With the curiousity of a cat
I'm a cat in a hat
With wings of a butterfly
(The cat ate the body, but left the wings!)
Poor butterfly, for goodness sake
That it should be used in a cake
Then end up in my mouth
As if by mistake!

Rescued By Butterflies
As the fairy lay floundering
Upon the sodden earth
Drowning
Then frowning
Glancing skywards
She witnessed what she thought
Was a swirling rainbow
Which began to hover all around her
As a multitude of butterflies
Of a myriad hues
Began to flap their wings
With such great energy
The fairiys' wings began to dry
And soon was able to fly
Caught within a soft, and silky Zephyr
As she pirouetted skywards
Into the sky, and beyond
Returning to that other place
Where the ethereals reside

One only waxes poetic,
Recounting nature's perfect kinetics.
Uses only immaculate phrasing,
To emphasise how amazing,
The stems, heavy hips.
The dropping of honey drips,
From the honeycomb,
That it's swaying whips.
The bee, hovers over, with power.
But gentle, goes into her flower.
The plosion of pollen.
What remains, the wind devours.
The cyrsos that conceals

Like waves on the sand
It's like that magical moment
when a butterfly lands
You'll kill it if you try to hold it in your hands
Like a flame without oxygen
Trapped you can't breathe
So I'm never mad when you have to leave
If you like a flower you pluck it
If you love a flower you let it grow
I can't even begin to describe how deeply my love for you flows

You need your freedom like all beautiful things

the current world
is a tough place
too much hate
i am vulnerable
and break easily
so many people
are insensitive to
needs of others
