Awakening
Finding myself in the fire, I seethe.
Roasting under the breath of your harsh words.
You are suppressing me; I cannot breathe.
Smoke fills my lungs, my deliverance slurred.
Long gone is the compassion I once felt.
I have been left here with horror and fear.
Asking for assistance, I remain knelt.
Can my voice carry any favor here?
Like the phoenix, I rise from the ashes!
Demanding that you look into my eyes
as my talons engrave you with gashes.
I free myself from your prison of lies!
Spanning my wings, floating...

Discombobulated Heart
When I did not know no pain.
Life looked rosy, the future the same.
Now my heart is discombobulated.
Esp when someone Mentions your name.
Pain returns again & again.
Future looks bleak, black dog like!
Time slows to a trickle.
As light fades away.
I need space of time & distance.
Patience calm & confidence.
Till time speeds up again.
Times I've seen you.
Listened to your say.
Ok I'#ve had my say too.
I'm left confused.
As to what was actually said.
Do you find that's when others.
Talk about me...

It Is What It Is
What’s my next move?
I’m scared to dip my toe,
Petrified of every step,
Afraid of what I’ll never know.
But it’s necessary,
I can’t stay in your shadow,
There’s more to life than what you gave,
I need to find it, to let go.
My heart hurts, whether you see or not,
But let’s not dwell in all the ugly,
I won’t point fingers, or play the violin,
No, I owe no one an explanation.
If they ask, I’ll simply say—
It is what it is, and nothing more,
No excuses needed, not...

of my secret jealousy
this never used to be me
but its a habit

Family Secrets
Don’t go round selling family secrets
The secrets I know would get me murdered
The things that I know wish I was dementia
The things I know I wish I could forget em
She smiles at me at the mention I know what she is worth surviving millions
But I must agree she is a beauty my heart still
Belongs to her even if I hate her
My heart belongs to her
She hates me but she won’t leave me

THERE'S NO WINTER IN THE TROPICS
Snowman is not foreign,
He visits me every December.
Some years he was soft, large, cuddly,
Made of Uratex, durable, reusable.
Some other times, he's recyclable,
Environment-friendly, made of used, Materials, a budget buddy.
There were years when he's nothing,
But an image I could look at from afar.
Sadly, maddeningly so...
This year, and all the years to come,
I am afraid, he would be just someone,
To wish for, no matter how I try.
Reality bites and I have to accept
That there is no Winter here

Fasting from Your Love
Fasting from your love—
The addiction that consumes my mind,
A fire that burns, leaving reason behind.
I’m desperate to purge you from my soul,
But our bond runs deeper, beyond control.
Our souls are bound, down to the nucleus,
A connection so pure, so ruinous.
To break us apart would shatter the skies,
An atomic ripple where the universe cries.
I’m a prisoner of my own fragile mind,
Padded walls meant to protect, yet confined.
But even here, the stabs still find my heart,
As darkness whispers, tearing me apart.

I adore you, more than I implore
I adore something
I no longer have the privilege to explore
I lived off what was implored for so long
I forgot what I was doing it for
Let it be, ignore what I see
Act like it was never meant to be
Especially when it’s not good for me

I want to change
I want to be this something
