Up and then down
The need for new the want for nothing.
The world is my oyster the darkness keeping me shelled.
My bed always calling, although I’m electric.
I wish it was as easy as one or the other, or neither and either.
But we’re rarely given the choice with mental health so we live and push forward.

Hanging on by a thread
They see it in your eyes
Window to your mind
Are you gonna make it
Will you be fine
Slave to your fears
Thoughts racing and you can't keep up
Out of breath, can't move
Looks like your stuck
I'm not oblivious
But what can I do
I'm trying to keep myself together
But I'm running out of glue
I know it's wrong to wonder
If I'd feel better dead
But I'm lost out here in oblivion
Hanging on by a thread

Fragile life
Guiding light
For the blind
Trust noone
Especially yourself
When broken thoughts are your life
Run from one sinking ship to another
Titanic, Britannic
It's all so manic
Colors fade and go away
When you're having an episode

We've got something for all the girls and boys!"
Lying in bed
Smothered in covers
The circus still rages in my head
It's a toxic combination
Tears fall

the light goes out.
I've stumbled thru worse
now and again.
living in sin
a concept so dated
like what we never did.
Never doubt that sling,
I'm flinging my feelings
at your boots;
I won't lick 'em but
they're wet.
Forgetting would be nice.
To breathe that crisp,
vampiric frost and nip the

First Kiss
Madhouse Mon Cheri
Off the hip cackle
“This is where rich folks go crazy”
Staff shocked
By her brassy voodoo spell
First trembling bird peck
On Creole lips designed
For madhouse paradise
A touch of Hatter’s petal blues
Hinted in her hazel eyes
Torn from the Virgin ligaments
Of an Achille’s dream

A late Bar Mitzvah
She succored me

Memories pulse like an unstable current
Thoughts spiral and collapse out of my skull
Emotions collide with words and spit themselves out
And I'm left choking with regret
All the reasons spin and twist into excuses for desire
Can't grow a thing without tilling the soil first
Can't grow out of the old clothes, if you never stand up straight
The world looks different when I can look you in the eye
Appetite for destruction, but you never leave the house
It's getting hard to hide and now they don't ask questions
