Observing from the Treetops
She said I was “so quiet”.
I smiled and thought
that’s because I have little to say
about comings and goings I can’t track,
drama and gossip I never understand,
faceless names I’ll forget tomorrow.
Your words buzz around my head like gnats
and I am not a part of all that.
It’s not that I don’t try to speak.
My commentary is simply
the wrong shape
to penetrate their ear holes
Words tumble from tongue to floor
getting nothing but blank glances
as if I farted or confessed an unsavory sin
or made random...

Alienated!
I was abducted by aliens last night!!!!
They told me
They had come
To suck out my brains!
After much jabbering
Amongst themselves
And a few,
Seemingly harmless experiments
Where i presume
They were testing my brain output etc
They suddenly returned to Earth
Let me leave their spaceship aka ufo
Without saying a word?
So i asked
"I thought you were going to suck out my brains!"
"Yes earthling, we were
But decided on this occasion
It wasn't worth it.........

Alien Fairies
Alien fairies, like eartbound fairies dwell
They have certain differences, one can easily tell
They have extra wings, that grow on their feet as well
Even their ears could flap, and hover in any position
Squeezing through the smallest of gaps, with no disposition
They could speak in twenty-five languages
That nobody could understand
Apart from parts of deep space
Where all twenty-five languages, are banned!

Earth is being monitored
watched by an unseen
consciousness from somewhere else -
it has always been
long before humanity
occupied the world
it was known galactically
as it twirled and swirled
through the neverending
plasma in between

Very Close Encounters!
I was once propositioned by an alien
She was purple from head, to toe
I knew this, as i think she was naked
That's why i think she was a female of the species
Also, she had very long eyelashes, on all three eyes
How i ended up in the company of aliens
I can't quite fully remember
I was merely walking down a long, and lonely
Dark country lane in the early hours
Earlier that evening
I'd spotted something unnerving
In my local take-away
I was so horrified, i fled from the take-away
At the sight of some UFO'S...

We know it was a great fanfare
when Elon Musk sent a Tesla car towards the stars
with a fully loaded battery
When the hoopla died down and eyes were diverted
to the everyday problems on earth
The car started by itself and began visiting planet Saturn
and little Pluto and other planets of interest
When the time is right and astronauts, say Mars and walking
down the ladder, seeing tire marks will exclaim
Truly, ancient man was here.

noon every day
Noon every day
When the clock on the wall made to look old
but was made of some plasticky stuff
struck noon, which it does every day despite
made in China, fell on the kitchen floor
but kept on ticking.
As the sky sank slowly towards earth, a dog
barked to test, the silence, but overwhelmed
it yawned, curled up, and fell asleep
Once again, the sky tried to merge with earth
in an attempt to rekindle their romance
This time, it worked steam, rose from lakes
the ocean deep blue, when not turning pink
Those not willing to...

We're in parallel with other Earths
there's one see, it goes to our past,
but their living is from grave to birth,
like us they travel fast.
They spread across their universe
their start was our heat-death time
and their versifiers will unwrite their verse

to unerect their stone-age rings

their secrets born by men,
