I taught you to be strong
Would you have stayed
If I asked you to?
You left me standing
And broke my heart
You have betrayed
The trust you knew
Whom you were dating
Will tear us apart
Life had played
It’s tricks on you
But you’ll be landing
To start anew
========
I taught you to be strong…
To live your life
to find your home
I know you’re not wrong…
Still my veins are cut
Still in my gut it...
If I asked you to?
You left me standing
And broke my heart
You have betrayed
The trust you knew
Whom you were dating
Will tear us apart
Life had played
It’s tricks on you
But you’ll be landing
To start anew
========
I taught you to be strong…
To live your life
to find your home
I know you’re not wrong…
Still my veins are cut
Still in my gut it...

In The Midnight Glow
Tonight, the moon hangs low
And paints the streets below
Walking through shadows where the whispers flow
The figure on the stairs
will swear I once was there
Beneath the flickering light,
lost in the quiet air
The city’s endless hum
Of lives that come undone
Spins a melody that wraps
itself around me
The faces in the glass
Are fading with the past
And now there’s something new that's found within me
I’ve been drifting, watching time slip
through my fingers
Been...
And paints the streets below
Walking through shadows where the whispers flow
The figure on the stairs
will swear I once was there
Beneath the flickering light,
lost in the quiet air
The city’s endless hum
Of lives that come undone
Spins a melody that wraps
itself around me
The faces in the glass
Are fading with the past
And now there’s something new that's found within me
I’ve been drifting, watching time slip

What Remains Of Me
I know I can’t undo the harm
How I wish I'd kept you warm
But I walked through the storm,
left you in the calm,
Now everything I touched has come to harm.
I’ve learned the weight of wounds I bear,
hoping you’d still care,
as I sit and stare,
What’s left of me to share
Nothing went the way I thought out there.
I can’t lean on borrowed time,
What’s my final crime
I broke my own design,
Paid no heed to signs,
Now I’m left with shadows in my mind.
But maybe you can mend what’s left to...
How I wish I'd kept you warm
But I walked through the storm,
left you in the calm,
Now everything I touched has come to harm.
I’ve learned the weight of wounds I bear,
hoping you’d still care,
as I sit and stare,
What’s left of me to share
Nothing went the way I thought out there.
I can’t lean on borrowed time,
What’s my final crime
I broke my own design,
Paid no heed to signs,
Now I’m left with shadows in my mind.
But maybe you can mend what’s left to...

A New Chapter
Lies ended when he died
A life of deceit has passed
Memories were lies
A life of deceit has passed
Memories were lies
